If Thomas wins they well have to have an election for a judge in Lewis County, we haven't had one sents Thomas as run for election. He has another toy to play with, CONGRESS.

We won't have to elect one. The Collins kid will just have it handed to him.

I hope that it isn't the Collins boy, no offense meant to him (he may be very qualified for the job) but he didn't go through the election process as the other canidates have done. The person who plassed second in the original election is the one who should be appointed the next judge-exec.

Just not Chigger or one of the other "good ole boys" that have been in "charge" in the past.

The person who placed second would be the semocrat candidate and we can't have no democrat.

He was stopped dead in his tracks the night of the first meeting!!! So sit back and look around at your dead town and the county everyone makes fun of, the corruption!!1 He was your chance to make things better and you blew it. Now live with it. Once again Lewis County is a laugh!!!!

Patrick Collins is no conservative Republican if that's what you're hoping for. I don't know how he portrays himself in the local political scene but I assure you that while he may be somewhat fiscally conservative, he's as socially liberal as they come - as everyone should be.

He is still our chance. whether you want to admit it or not Thomas HAS made a difference for the better. He has stopped much of the corruption that has been crippling our county and keeping us from moving forward. In Congress, he will have a better chance to help us even more.
Everyone has an opinion and that's mine. He can't be as bad as you want him to look or he wouldn't have won.
Unless you think you could do a better job(and I'm betting you can't) stand behind him and help, don't be an albatross.

If you keep up with the Ledger Independent in Maysville, Thomas Massie will resign the office of Lewis Co. judge Exec. August 6, 2012. He has to resign this position 90 days prior to the general election and Dill Dough is right the Gov. Appoints someone to fill the term until the next election. Which will be in 90 days after the appointment.

The Collins deputy judge is from a good family. But so is Thomas Massey, so that does not count much with this generation. Bill Tom did more for Lewis county as Mayor than any judge has done in years. He knows how to get things done. Like 2 factories and a new industrial park. So don't be to hard on him.

I am sure that when all votes are counted in Lewis Co. we all will see that Mr. Massie is not nearly as popular as he was when he was elected County Judge. The Collins boy appointed to a created position so Mr. Massie could campaign on Lewis Co. time & possibly payroll. I personally would not support any Massie puppet to replace a canidate that I feel sold this county short. Now to Bill Tom this county is done with all the " old politics " I hope the Governor appoints a person with family values, educated with common sense, and cares about this county.

What corruption? Can you explain in detail what wrongs he has righted?

Private use of county resources and equipment for one.
You seem to have made up your mind that you don't like Thomas, and that's ok.
It would be a waste of time to try to make you see that he HAS helped simply because of that reason.
I do hope that Thomas is allowed to continue for LC because contrary to what you want everybody to think, he has done some amazing things, and I am confident that he will do more if allowed(Rome wasn't built in a day)

You must be Massies Mother. Only a mother could say "he has done some amazing things". Maybe he has done some "amazing" things for himself but not for this county.
