It seems that Wrenstock drew more scrutiny from Law enforcement than Wetzel. Maybe things would improve if they brought more $$$ into the region like Wetzel.

Wrenstock was a joke! Only people there were locals. Sure gave a lot of hype only to have a major fail. I heard it was the people that run the wiffleball that put it on - maybe they should give it up!

Well it would make sense that Wrenstock was put on by the same people that run wiffleball considering it stated on the tickets that all profits were going to help fund the wiffleball tournament, idiot.

In response to 'sistersue', no one was told that they couldnt pitch a tent and camp out.

You may have heard it was a "total bust" but since 300 tickets were sold before the actual event the money was already raised, didnt matter if the people showed up or not.

First year for the event so instead of judging everything that went on maybe we can thank Wren for attempting to try something new. People bitch and complain that there is nothing to do around here and then a local village tries to put something on and people bitch and complain that it wasnt good enough. Just can win with you people can they?

Have to wonder if 300 tickets were really sold first of all, an second y wd they do it the same weekend as Rockford days ? Doesn't Rockford deserve to have the weekend they have always had for them ? Wren & Rockford aren't that far away from each other. Seems to me that Wren tried to be greedy

maybe you should put that on next years flyers and let them put a tent up for free and charge for rv and campers, you could make a few xtra bucks that way,coz all u want is tents since campers take up alot of space, but if you advertise that people can stay it would be better..
