It wouldn't be pretty. What you're describing are gangs with a common uniform and symbol. So far, I'm glad to see nothing like that in this county, but if we're not vigilant, it could end up that way, if the UN is successfully injected into local government.

You sound like another scofflaw who got caught. If you don't like the punishment don't break the law.
Obey the law

Those of us who obey the law never have any issues with the police. Our officers deserve respect and appreciation. Those of you who complain obviously have been caught breaking the law or have family who have been caught. If you don't like obeying the law then MOVE AWAY! We don't want you here! Keep up the good work VWPD! Those of us who obey the law appreciate you!

First, they're not our officers. They are employees of the city government. As for what consists of laws, many of them have no victim, but do have consequences that all of us pay for. Even with the newest technologies, those laws actually interfere with the efficiency of solving crimes against other people. While I don't do drugs, I have no commercial interest in anyone that does. Companies like Time-Warner, however do, as they own significant shares in CCA (Corrections Corporation of America), and a significant interest in maintaining laws to keep their profits high. CCA made $3B last year.

If there is no victim, there is no crime.

I had an EXCELLENT experience with an officer of the VWPD. About a month ago, I was visiting family in VW, and got pulled over. He said he wasn't sure if the light I just went through was yellow or not (which was already being generous, I thought for sure he would nail me for that), but when he ran my plates, he found that my tags had expired. It was an honest mistake on my part; I just got a new car forgot that they were coming up due. I didn't have my most recent insurance card in the car. Even after ALL OF THAT, he let me off with a warning. I was respectful (as I always am), answering "yes, sir," "no, sir," and it paid off. He really could've been a d1ck, but he wasn't. I have ZERO complaints about VW cops, rather a commendation. Not sure who it was, but thanks for giving me a break when I needed it.

I was surprised to read your claims and not see a link to a reliable source proving them.

So what a simple yes or no is not sufficient. You have to say sir wow. While I understand being polite will get you farther than otherwise I refuse to add to a cops ego. That being said there are some good cops in vw and there are some bad ones that were probably tormented as kids and became cops to get back at their juvenile bullies but take it out on everyone else.

Iv smoked a joint with one van wert cop and one middle point cop. On different occasions but it proves not every cop follow the laws they enforce. How many times have u seen a cop go by with no seat belt on, talking on a cell phone, or speeding. They all break laws.

So what is your point idiot? The bottom line is that if you get caught breaking the law you will pay the price. If the police get caught breaking the law they will pay the price. It sounds like you are complaining, not that you are innocent, but that you got caught and someone else didn't.

That's life! Suck it up and move on. You need to worry about yourself and nobody else.

If you are dumb enough to keep on breaking the law you will keep on paying the price.

I have a complaint against the VWPD if an officer allowed you to continue without issuing a citiation for not having proof of insurance. Insurance is required to protect the other guy. To let you slide on this issue is malfeasance on the part of the officer.
