underage consumption

Can anyone tell me what to expect from court on a underage consumption charge? Cost etc? Just curious...

You're not going to get much if its your first time. Probably just unsupervised probation, jail time suspended, and Westwood classes and maybe some community service.. I think they also might suspend your license for 30 days but I can't remember. It would be in the link I posted for you though. Do be aware though that the judge/prosecutor are going to ask you how you obtained the alcohol so make sure you have a good story ready. Say something believable that can't be proven false. Back when I was underage me got charged, twice I told the judge that I stood outside the store and asked people to buy it for me and keep the change and finally someone did but I had no idea who they were. Judge thought I was bullshitting but he couldn't prove it so that line of questioning ended there. Just wanted to give you a heads up about that.

The unsupervised probation is cake. You don't even have to check in you just have to tell them if you change your address.

The Westwood classes are just your basic drugs and alcohol are bad mmmmmkayyyy type or classes. Boring as shit but easy to pass.

If you get community service try going to a few different spots and asking them to just write your hours off for you. Eventually you'll find someone who will, I always did.

VAN WERT, Ohio - A 19-year-old local man is to appear in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court today after being charged with making a bomb threat last week to Van Wert High School.
Jonathan R. Murphy, Jr., was indicted on a charge of making false alarms, a fifth-degree felony. Police said a 911 call May 4 claimed a bomb had been planted at the school.
Officers found a suspicious bag in the junior high wing, and both sections of the school were evacuated. A bomb squad from the Lima police department later determined the bag was harmless.
Mr. Murphy was being held yesterday in the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.

I agree with johnny on this one.Just make sure you got a good story going up in there or they will hammer you, at least that's what I seen from my experiences. Goodluck and feel blessed you don't gotta go in front of Cambell,he was such a dick.

What is this underage consumption? Did you open and drink a bottle of 2011 Cabernet? That is a crime to say the least, but you shouldn't have to go to court. In the future let all heavy reds age at least 18-24 months after you purchase them if the vintage year is only 1-2 from the current year. Sorry for your loss.

My great grandfather died of consumption. It's dangerous.

If your under 18. Alcohol classes which is about 300 bucks and once a week for about a month. Court cost 60 bucks . 60 days license suspended. Cant stay at friends house. Its probation but not probation. Basically if your out past midnight and you get caught they will report you and off to court you go. If your over 18 i think its a weekend in jail court cost alcohol classes and suspendedlicense
