Seriously though they was suppose to be done with this shit last year.They took from June till Nov then took a break to regain in March. After seeing the signs again their really is no reason they still are taking their sweet time on redoing stuff again. Shouldn't you in today's economy do stuff the right way the first time? I hate the way city will spend all your tax dollers on pointless stuff.

That construction is frustrating! I have to detour on 127 to go to and from work all the way through town and I always get stuck behine a slow semi. I can't wait until Shannon Street is done and then I can just resume taking that way through town right onto 118. I just can't believe how long they've been working on it.

The delay in the Shannon Street project was because the state, after awarding bids, allowed the winning bidder to back-out. That required the whole bidding process to start over. This was under Ted Strickland's administration so give credit where credit is due. So a year wasted!

Yeah, I read about that whole deal in the newspaper a while back. I'll just be happy when it is finally completed.

Council had a meeting Monday night to look over the plans for West Main Street construction. Just wait till next year, especially if you work at Federal Mogul or Eaton!

I'm glad the only reason I get on West Main, is to stop at Century. I love that place, they've got everything, even steel. I do miss the S shaped part of Shannon St, it's fun to power slide thru lol
