Why would Nikole keep some of the kids and not listt all so people can pick from all. when we use to pick an angel i liked asking God to show me which one so i can pick. just sayin i want a choice of ALL of them.

Thats pretty sad that out of the first 20-25 kids she listed that your God hasn't led you to chose even one. From what I can see she is listing them by herself, I imagine that takes some time and effort. If there isn't one profile on that list that seems worthy of your help then wait until she puts up the next list. Hopefully she gets enough people to help so she can move on. There really are people who will complain about anything. I can't believe you're even whining about an angel list.

He who is in control is God. There are kids posted, He is in control, He obviously wants you to pick from who is listed. There Sunday School is dismissed.

No I think she picked the people she wanted to to be in the first set to make sure they got things than after they are picked she will put more up. Why else do you think she does it by herself. She just don’t want anyone to know that he is picking and choosing.
And asking for donations for a gift for Jennifer (not that she shouldn’t have got one) what about all the times that other family members have dies, she never went and asked for donations to send them an item.
People should pay more attention to what is going on.
I bet all of her nephews and nieces are on the “first” set of kids.

Why do you all just not go to the Giving Tree at your church? As far as I know, all churches have a giving tree where you can take an ornament that represents a need for a child, or maybe even an adult.
The Elks Lodge has the same thing, I'm sure other places do as well.

WOW a "good non judgmental christian person!" Do you realize how moronic you sound? You bitch about someone asking people for donations, for some Jennifer chic, who needs it, but that isn't enough cause she hasn't asked anyone else over the years? IDK you people or what church you are talking about but you hypocritical bitches are all alike! You want god to tell you who to choose to help? Are you f#%$#ng stupid? Does god tell you in your head or call you on the phone? I wonder after reading these comments, and can't help to think maybe you are being nosy rosy over who actually needs help, so you can bitch about why you think they need on the list or not. Thank the Mighty Aphrodite I am not like you!

Pretty sure Wal-Mart has the giving tree every year also. I know they used to.

So this is the real reason you started this thread. It wasn't because God was going to lead you to a certain child, it was because you're so concerned about exactly who is receiving. Why don't you start your own page then? Your so worried someone you deem as not worthy of a gift is going to receive one. That's hateful.

No one is being forced to give. It's a choice. And I don't care what the circumstance is, no child should have to go without a winter coat or gloves or a hat. I don't think it's right to have a child suffer because their parents are on hard times or are disabled or heck even if they are flat out irresponsible! It's not the kid's fault. Stop being so judgemental and self riteous.

I had requested to join that group and for some unknown reason they would not let me and I have no clue who the administrators even are. My children was asking to donate this year to someone in need of help so I sent a request to join thinking I could help someone from the group but I am assuming they have so many donors they don't want/need the extra donations. I joined another group out of Van Wert County and will be making my donation to them instead. We are in the process of moving and I also wanted to donate a couch, recliner, 2 tv's and a washer and dryer that I won't need when we move but I guess they will be donated on the other site now too. Now after reading some of these comments glad I didn't get accepted into this group I would rather give to someone who will appreciate the donation.

Why in the world would you have not been accepted as a donor?
This is why I encourage people to donate to sites like their church or the Salvation Army.

This is NICOLE. I am the administrator of the Pay It Forward group. 1st of all our group is NOT a community resource group. We don't have the funding or the big popularity like Salvation Army and all of the other places. We are a private group of people wanting to make a difference and help the best we can. With donations being really slim this year (and I can tell that by our fundraisers), and MANY places who helped last year having closed down their services this year, the need is much bigger than the help. When it came to posting the Deer Kids, I posted the first 30 that signed up (we had 51). We (the admins and committee members) decided to post the first 20-30 and see if they would be able to get help. I didn't want to post everyone just in case not everyone could get help. It would totally suck if a family of 4 had 2 children picked and then they had to figure out what to do for the other ones. I do believe doing it that way was the fairest way to do it. I'm not saying they all won't get picked eventually, in fact I PRAY for that! There is no favoritism, nothing like that. This event is something that we don't HAVE to do but we do it out of the kindness of our hearts to help make a difference. Even if the difference is just a small one. It's people like YOU who ruin it for others. As for God telling you who to choose, I can understand that...but I don't understand the rest of your thinking!
WALT...I'm not sure who you are, and I'm not sure if you tried to sign up for the VAN WERT Pay It Forward group or where. But in our group if you ask to be added we add you, tell you about the rules and then IF you don't follow the rules (common sense simple ones) then you are removed after a warning is given. There is NO WAY you put in a request and you were denied by anyone of us! Could very well have been a facebook glitch as well! I am sorry that you had problems getting into the group tho. I am glad that you found a group that will allow you to help someone else in need tho. Thank you for that. The world needs more people like you!:)
I hope this clears a lil bit of the air for you folks! I don't normally get on this site cuz it's full of nothing but drama and negativity. I don't have room for that in my life. I just wanted you all to know WHY I did what I did, since you didn't want to come to ME and instead decided to try to make problems for the group and those in need of help on this site!
PS...I GUARANTEE that NONE of my nieces and nephews are on the DEER KIDS list. Not even my own daughter!! AGAIN, I did it in the fairest way I could, I don't have favorites on the list. It was 1st come 1st serve! And for the person who said that...I know you know me and I would appreciate it if you came to ME if you have a problem with me!
Sorry for the book, but thanks for your time.

Nicole is doing a good service to kids who may not otherwise have a Christmas. Why do people feel the need to bash her program. Know your facts before you start to spew vomit out of your mouths for petes sake ! If you think you can do better than she has, then use that negative energy and turn it into something positive and start your own Christmas program for the local needy children. Kudos to you, Nicole and all of your helpers and to anyone who has donated to such a worthy cause !

I find it hard to believe that it was a facebook glitch for both my wife and I to join your group. But if it helps you sleep better that you screwed up by not admitting a couple more members that was more then willing to help a couple of kids and families have a nicer holiday season then you go ahead and stick to your story. We would sale the items on the garage sale sites but really don't want the hassle so we thought we would just donate to a local family in need.

Nobodys perfect. Everyone makes mistakes and lives in error.Facebook programs have been such a mess for the past 2 years with them trying to update the program to make it better, resulting in one glitch after another. Why not let bygones be bygones and get back to whats more important....HELPING FAMILIES THAT ARE LESS FORTUNATE HAVE A WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS. To err is human, to forgive DIVINE.

really really this is crap! Nicole is doing a great Job trying her best, people needs to stop being so greedy! My question is to the one who is complaining how many groups have you tried to get help from? From my past of working with a business that helped people at christmas that was guilty people going to one group to another group for help is the one who cries the loudest that they think something isnt going right.. Just be thankful that your name is on the list and the biggest thing is getting help for the child or children, Nicole said there is at least 50 children on the list then lets do things to help raise money where we can help all 50 not just the 30 that was listed, thats what the goal is..

I cant believe how you people act!!! If I was Nicole, I would wash my hands of this mess an YOUR kids just wont have any christmas because of YOUR ignorance and rudeness! She is doing the best she can with the least amount of help! I am willing to bet EVERY ONE OF YOU who's kids are on that list is NOT offering to help out in ANY way, shape or form. If I was poor and needed help providing for my kids at christmas, I would be thankful for Nicole and be offering ANY help I could so this turns out great! I bet you havent offered to help at the party, bake anything, help decorate for the party, etc. You just sit on your fat asses and bitch, whine and moan about things!!! GET A LIFE PEOPLE!!

as to her doing it by herself she does that because she does not let anyone else help. That way nobody else really knows whats going on.
