You do realize he created his oun job. I just wonder who decided his pay. He drives the EMS mobile 24/7 and taxpayers are flipping the bill.
I've seen him in Lima with it.

I believe people cam have premonitions. I had one a few years ago. I saw Ranger Ricks wife becoming a lesbian. She did.

LMAO, yeah...we were at the Fairgrounds at Ol Fashioned Farmers. The siren went off just as things started going horizontal....absolutely NO notice. Fortunately only one person got hurt. We all wish we could have a govt job for over 10 years from listening to the weather on WOWO.

How could one NOT have an ego when most people worship the ground you walk on! I do have to admit though, when the weather is down and out you can find me jumping to McCoy's Facebook page to see what the latest details are. He's kind of like our areas own personal weather newsman which is kind of cool in an area with no local news!

Ya it is pretty fun how he didn't even have a clue about the storm at the end of June that was worse than the tornado. But he's this awesome weather person what a joke

Well aware, thank you. But when it's 100 degrees and you have no power do you think the local news in another state are going to answer your questions?

Thank you for all you do Rick McCoy. If he ever retires he will be near irreplaceable . He really cares about this town and you guys are bashing him? Would you take time out of your family vacations to keep people up to date back home about weather like he has in the past? Probably not, we need to be thankful for him not hating on him .

Until the towers are wiped off the map with a tornado then your phone does you no good at all.

It's 2012, but go ahead and use a "Charles Engles" if you wish, the rest of us will be getting weather alerts days in advance via apps.

If the towers are wiped off the map that means it has already hit. That means we have no power.
How will you get any information from McCoy? Will he drive around town ans tell the people? The Sheriff's department could do the same thing. They could handle a larger area. If McCoy is on vacation, who contacts him? They could contact the Sheriff's office and Van Wert would know with one call not two.

NO ONE is irreplaceable, and how do you know the next person wouldn't be better? There isn't one person on the planet that can't be replaced, especially an ema guy in a small town, lol really, it's a job, I would "keep in touch" too if I made what he does
