Id love to know where people are finding out about these jobs because i read the papers and do internet searchs daily yet still cant find a job!! to boot i just found out that the store was opening, i dont shop that end of town often!however i would kill to have a job, even if its only to work 5 hours a day at 8 dollars and hour!many wont hire me because i also attend college full time (but i only go 2 days a week)!its diff not because i dont try because i call and i stop in face to face and check on the applications!

It could be that some places look at you as over qualified, though in this day and age it seems almost necessary to have a college degree, at least an associates to gain employment, but it is a thought.

Do yourselves a favor if there are other forms of employment in your area go to them and stay away from Dollar Tree. The company professes to care for its employees but the bottom line is i.e. DM's and VP's are not making there bonus's despite the economy you the employee will feel the brunt. You will work less hours in a week and you will live check to check and if you don't believe me ask your GM or DM about raises they'll calmly smile and make you feel like its a company that cares for its employees but at the end of the day they value the worker in China making there products than you. And yes I have and still continue to look for new employment I'm just trying to save someone from making the same mistake as I did and get hooked into a company who's stock has split twice but gives its employees less than 12,000 per year unless your a DM or GM but if you can kiss ass well you'll do fine
