We as a community should feel proud, it's because of us that justice has been served. :)

While it's really good that the community can rally around defenseless animals, I'll call it a proud moment when we can do that for defenseless humans as well. Still, one step forward for this community.

There was someone in the house yesterday. I drove past and a delivery guy was delivering food (people food) to someone in the house.

Looking at it objectively, anyone there is already doing a better job than Rich did. The call has been put out for volunteers by the commissioners and I wouldn't at all be surprised if non-violent offenders could work off some community service time there as well. That's another big step forward.

Malfeasance
Wrongful conduct by a public official

Misfeasance
Doing a proper act in a wrongful or injurious manner

Nonfeasance
A failure to act when under an obligation to do so; a refusal (without sufficient excuse) to do that which it is your legal duty to do

So is that the only thing that our elected officials are going to do to him??? If they was reason for termination, there should be adequate evidence for criminal actions don't you think?? I for one am not letting this go!!

Then sign the petitions and get with Kari Kuhn to stay updated to when we will protest again. We are giving them until tomorrow to decide then we will protest.

The county commissioners only meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Based on what they did today, I doubt justice will be far behind. I think it would be reasonable to give them at least until Tuesday, but to be there at the courthouse with a presence opposing any plea bargaining. That's just my thoughts.

Joe we will be speaking with them about their intentions before we show our presence I PROMISE. But Nitro law is OHIO law and if they chose to not file criminal charges they themselves break the law.

We will give them every chance and then be sharing ideas on how they can improve the shelter for the animals.
