camping

[upset camper]

We went to Cove Lake to camp..We were looking for a camp site with electricity.
Found out there was no such thing? So we decided to go ahead and stay because we had told some
friends we were going there and to come and join us. We were told that I could use the hosts camper
hook up for my asthma breathing treatments ( the main reason for needing elec) So we set up camp..
rented a paddle boat, talked to the host there and they let us borrow a small cooler, becuse they didnt sell
styrofoam coolers, for our cokes and worms. And set off to fish and paddle around for a couple of hours.
We got back and "parked" the boat in the water in front of this couples camp site. So we asked if it was OK.
They said sure, we got to visiting with them, and went on. Later our friends got there and they were going to
rent a paddle boat and told them we had already had one and we had a rubber boat so we aired up that one and we
all went out again. Then we all went to our camp site and James and the band started playing..thats when the trouble started. Mind you, there were plenty of LOUD mexican music playing in the parking
lot that you could hear all the way down to the water way when we went down to get our paddle boat, we didnt
complain about how this is America where we speak english.
That's when Barney Fife came up to the camp site and started to talk to us, and he noticed a cpl walking up to
our camp site, with a can of beer in there hand..oh my gosh you would have thought they had just shot
bambi! He walked over there like he was gonna arrest them right there!! He told them that it was illegal to
have beer in a national forest but that he was gonna let them go as long as they poored their beer out right
there, so they did. Then he told them that as long as they had it in their camp site he would leave them alone,
but if he saw them wander out of their campsite with it again he would write them a ticket!! Then anothr
cpl walked up with a beer can in their hands..... we went and tried to rescue them b4 Barney got ahold of them
but he did :( We couldn't help that our live music was much better on the ears than that CRAP THAT WAS PLAYING
EARLIER !!!Ok we got our rules....no where in it did it say anything about not having alcohol, and why do all
the little stores b4 you get there sell it!! Or why dont they have it posted anywhere? They have no
food past this point , no animals past this point, so why not the alcohol?Why not? at 10 the guys stopped playing like they were told to, and we were all just standing around talking and having a good time..and here comes Barney..Not even ten min later! He had to be stalking us in the woods or something cuz he was just too quik on getting back to our campsite! He told us we were being too loud,and wanted everyone in our campsite to acknowledge what he was saying by saying yes sir ( he was so mad or what
ever he was shaking in his boots by this time). By this time we were all a little on the miffed side, this guy has
too much power go to head!! So we decided to pack up and leave. it was 1030!! One of our freinds
decided to get one more swing in the swing set that was right beside our camp site, Barney Fife came up behinde him
and started shining his flash light on him!! He was being a little creapy. James had told me that the night
b4 that he thought that somebody was in our campsite and that the dogs were growling at someone. I had told him that
it was probably an animal. I was wrong I would now put money down that it was Barney Fife seeing what we had..is he a theif on the side? Is that why likes to hide out in the woods, and thats why he likes everybody to go
to bed at 10??? While we were packing up and not being quiet becuz we were NOT happy, we heard over us 5 or 6
camp sites away other ppl being louder than we were. where was Barney Fife then?? For 10 a nite we can find a better place to camp we have b4!!

After reading the previous post, I've lost three minutes of my life that I'll never get back! Posts on here ought to be like stupid people; there should be a sign reading "STUPID POST: Read at your own risk". Good Grief!
