They are adding ramps to the sidewalks where they meet each street.

I use the sidewalks to walk on pretty days, and this is wonderful.

I totally understand the addition of the ramps but my thinking is that if they are going to add this to our sidewalk why not fix all the messed up sidewalks. They are going to have a hard time going down the sidewalk with some that look like lauching ramps. Just my two cents

The ramps are nice, but why don't they spend money fixing the messed up sidewalks rather than putting some of the ramps in really strange places where they are not needed.

I was thinking the exact same thing!!!!! a person in a wheelchair would have a very tough time trying to go on the sidewalks

U think that the city would do something with the city park! It is in really bad need of a fix up. The toys there are way to old.....or at least add more things for the children!!

Has anyone heard when this will happen? It is hard for me as I am in a motorized wheelchair and would love to see this happen but nothing more has been said.

Folks in one part of Oak Cliff take care of it themselves-It is called building a better block.
Being the change they wish to see in this world.
One could gather like-minded neighbors and spend an afternoon cleaning/repairing etc, or not.
It's your choice:0)

A group of like-minded people wanting to do something constructive in Fannin County?????????? Most of them would rather just complain. Of course, approval would have to be granted by the city in order to do cleaning/repairing of public property.
