County burn ban remains in effect
The county-wide burn ban remains in affect, as approved by county commissioners during Monday's Commissioners Court.

I hope the Commissioners keep our burn ban in effect until we get a sizeable amount of rain, no matter how long it is. We live in a very rural part of the county, there is no warning siren and we pray every day and night there won't be a fire we can't see coming.
