Josh was investigated for his Russian underworld ties with his wife. Remi knew nothing of his past and trusted him and his wife. Then he convinces her to concetrate on her son and he will run the company for her. A private comptroller caught him buying realestate with the company money funnelling the profits overseas and not paying taxes. Then when Inflight got audited, Josh put the blame on her that she was aware and under her instruction. The comptroller was hired by her to dig out the missing funds and when Josh found out he ran first to the feds like a RAT to cheese to save his skin and blamed her. When the indictments came he wasnt mentioned and is now protected by the gov't and a witness. Remi and inflight has had a flawless record paying taxs over the years and was a much admired company as well as charitable. All the companies contracts with the airlines were signed with a handshake and trust. So whom do we believe, a sneaky russian or a woman who has proven her business ability and clean slate as well as being tough? You decide.

Learn to read the facts, Josh Joffe was never convicted OR even charged with embezzlement, if you ACTUALLY read it, it shows NOTHING about the government charging him with embezzlement. Anything i've seen on him and this case in surfing around the net are unrelated to Remys theft of funds.
She is the one and ONLY one who was charged with theft, either you idiots need to use your brains, or you must be working with her to make the thief (her) sound "innocent" after the fact.
You cant be completely innocent when the feds charge you and ONLY you with stealing money from your own company and dont charge anyone else for the same.

hmm, and looks like your so-called Inflight "company" commited circulation fraud with Newsday for years, its been under federal investigation for years, years even before those so called thefts in the late 90s. No wonder Newsday was sold to cablevision so hastily, interesting.

Remy hasnt proven anything, according to some of the articles im seeing the company bankrupted twice so apparently she blew it all in the end, where is the company now? Ive seen companys come back from worse situations than the owner stealing all of the money. usually the owner would still try to keep it going, she destroyed that business, plain and simple and justice came.

Why are you so adament about defending Josh and seeing Remy go to Jail??? I understand the laws but anyone that worked with Josh knows what went on. They are just afraid to really say anything.

Well, Seeing that the Rat Joffe in todays paper is facing 5 years and a 1.9mil tax liability and 250,000. fine just proves he WAS at the helm of this conspiracy even after cooperating with the Feds. Then in his plea states "I together with others..." bull!!! Check his family in Russias bank accounts and holdings. Remy has nothing extra since Dan died, actually the company was in the red when he died and she liquidated all the toys he had to keep the company afloat. So its time to really Examine the facts people. Bernie M is a swindler not Remy!! The Feds only want a conviction not matter whos life gets destroyed.

Why also would she fight to save her reputation and go through the expense of lawyers for 5 years to fight this. The problem was as the govt's accountant stated, " whom ever did these purchases knew how to do it and hide it" Sounds like a Russian scheme as they cant be trusted as known all along. I dont want to stereotype but in my own export business Duetche Bank refused 23x letters of credit for a Russinan customer of mine thus having them go COD even with substantial assests. HUMMMM. As and ex union rep. Inflight always made good on Union contracts for thier employees when the airline payments were on account on the 1st of January of every year! The ficticious employee issue is not a probability especially if you know MRs. Lehner. Her problem was trusting a friend or thought was a friend to run the company. Joffe and his wife were very convincing to a grieving widow as they milked the company slowly. Theres more than meets the eye!! So in retrospect with all the vultures trying at first to start and compete with her at the onset of dans death and her winning in court, then expanding the business to Hotels to build revenue, liquidating assets to maintain operations, her charitable contributions and philanthropy...does this sound like a greedy thieving selfish scammer?? Sorry people, She, the company at inflight with all the employees were screwed by Joffe and Joffe alone. But as owner of the company not knowing dosent protect her so the law states she has to answer even though she wasn't in on Joffe operation to bankrupt Inflight for his own personal gain. May he rot in jail!
