Does anybody really bark that loud,,,when they have "nothing" to back it up??? One answer to this could be obtained by looking at the fact that while America sought diplomatic ends with North Korea when they claimed that they were in fact in possession of weapons of mass destruction, and even considered testing one to prove it,,,we "simultaneously" went to war with Iraq because of "suspicions" of weapons of mass destruction within their borders. So while it seems like a slam dunk when you take a look at America and then look at North Korea on the globe,,,I'm thinking that it's very possible that size isn't the issue with this frey.Got me thinking that North Korea has learned a way to do research while remaining cloaked from the electromagnetic-spectrum of America's defense satellites,,,and possibly learned a few other things that we haven't figured out yet.Either way,,,I feel that North Korea is definitely worthy of "everyone's" respect and attention at the moment.Any ideas, insight, outlook or thoughts,,,please share.

North Korea doesn't have any oil. You can bet there is a Los Angeles class submarine out there in the ocean close to Korea. The sub has 24 Trident II missiles each with 12 warheads. Enough destructive power to destroy North Korea a dozen times over.

The X37 B is up there at the edge of space ready with rods from the gods.

Google scalar weapons and rods from gods.

Rods from the Gods would likely destroy us all.Learned about 'em a couple years ago,,,though I believe they were misleading about what they really interact with in order to do the damage they do,because point blank,,,I don't believe that rods of that size would create the kinetic energy that they claim,,,regardless of the speed. All that aside,if it was as simple as all that with North Korea,,,would it have not been done by now??? Truthfully,I hope you're right,,,and they "don't" blast us.However,it's sort of arrogant to just assume that all holes are well covered,,,when you're dealing with a team of super-intelligent snakes.

North Korea is being run by a very young man. He has to present an image of power to keep his army from throwing a coup, or to keep his citizens, who may be cranky about starving to death when he is obviously not missing any meals, from toppling his regime.

These latest provocations would likely be viewed as an attempt to keep his own citizens in line. But, they should definitely be taken seriously. The main issue is not whether the dictatorship needs to be toppled, but rather how we can do it without starting a war with China. While even China is starting to get uncomfortable, they will likely side with Korea at the moment if we sent the military in.

I'm certainly no foreign policy guru, but the most I expect is for China to tighten the leash on Korea, possibly pressuring the child running the country to step down peacefully, and instituting Chinese style fascism in the country. This is probably the best outcome we can realistically hope for.

Totally off subject, not being rude, but are you old enough to call people kiddos? Lol. Very interesting facts by the way. I don't read much into it. My father updates me. My dad has scarred me from watching or keeping up with it. All he watches is CNN and anytime I visit him he's talking about the government. Lol.

My dad actually has a theory that makes a lot of sense. He claims they're attempting to exploit the "squeaky wheel gets the grease" theory,,,in hopes that America will pay them off to simply shut up and let it go.I really don't have any trouble accepting that theory, but at the same time,North Koreans are sneaky, intelligent, and they hate us,,,but I'm skeptical as to whether they present a threat or not.Gonna cling to the idea that it's possible since nobody else will though.

Your dad's theory makes sense. Afterall, that is what the US generally does. I'm thankful to see a good topic of debate here instead of the usual so-and-so is doing drugs, selling drugs or doing so-and-so.
I honestly feel that Americans need to focus more on what is going on HERE, right under our noses, than in North Korea at the moment. We are in a position where China is well on the way to owning us. Our economy is in the crapper, yet we continue to send aid to others who would gladly do us harm if given any opportunity. Dependence on the governments has increased drastically in recent years. Don't believe the #s for unemployment that the liberal press likes to throw around. Those numbers don't include people who are no longer eligible for benefits, people who have simply given up trying to find work, or people who are no longer on the work roles because they have been determined disabled. The disability and food stamp programs have ballooned under Obama and there is no end in sight.... More dependence= more democratic votes. That dependence secures political votes for decades to come. The problem is that our economy is not sustainable with so many leeches who have found it's easier to be a drain on society than to actually work. The disability fund is set to go broke in 3 years. That's okay though--the government plans to make those payments from the social security fund. The SS fund is $$ tht workers have paid into in hopes of being able to retire--even at a relatively old age. Before people start whining about how I want a crippled grandma to take a nosedive fromm the nearest cliff, I am not talking about the genuinely disabled. I'm talking about people who are too lazy to work, but could do so if they wanted....or people who cook up disabilities with their own kids to live off their SSI check. You realize families can get disability for kids because they have ADHD....or asthma....or a reading disability...right? That's right. Those kids go to school everyday, are not working age, but still get SSI. Lastly, immigration is a huge threat to our economy. Immigrants take far more than they put into our economy. They drain social resources and contribute little.

Okay--enough of my rant. While I appreciate that NK is dangerous, I think the wokring man in America has far greater risks right here at home.

HIGH holly, A lot of things pending on this whole subject. My view is we don't have a President that wants to stand up to this little bitch in North Korea or the Arab spring. He is afraid he's gonna hurt someone's feelings or make China or Russia upset . He is too busy bending down to Arab leaders. Strap a bomb to Dennis Rodmans ass and let em all meet Jesus.....

If you look at his history, you'll understand more of why he makes the decisions he does. Take a look at this link when you have a minute. It's very thought provoking....and scary. I think the American people have been DUPED. And, my theory is that whites have become apologists, work too hard at being PC and are too scared of being called "racist" (which is a liberal response when they have no valid argument), so they sit by idly...watching as this once great country takes the fast track to hel1.

"Kiddo" is a condescneding term that you use in an effort to show superiority here.

No, I didn't "pounce" on your post because 1. you were not attacking anyone 2. I agree with it

No kiddo,,,I don't mean for the term "kiddo" to sound condescending,,,but rather a term of affectionate that I use as a method of appearing older,,,while simultaneously appearing to be friendly. That aside,,,1-Thanks for not pouncing me.
2-Really blows my mind that you agree with that,,,of all things..
3-Blows my mind even more that you admitted it.
4 Either way,,,thanks again.

Girl, you seem like a strong willed and fairly intelligent individual some of the time. And to be honest, the way I find myself in the midst of mysterious attraction when you scold and brutalize me,,,carries a mighty familiar tone along with it.So if I can ask,,,would your initials by any chance be R-W???
