Good morning all. I pray for healing, compassion, strength and love for all. Mostly for our countrymen/women fighting for us. Those who give their time, effort, energy and LIVES so we can have our freedoms. I pray for those hurting and full of sorrow over their lost loved ones, TRUE HEROS!!

If anyone wants to be added to the prayer list, let your needs be known. I am pretty sure more will be praying than just me.
PLEASE, I implore you all to keep this civil. IF you don't believe in the power of prayer, that is ok just please move on to another discussion and have respect for those that do. I want this to be for prayer requests, or for Thanksgiving for answered prayers, not arguing. There are plenty of other discussions for that.

I will start by first being thankful for the best news our family just received. My uncle was given 3 months to live, rare liver cancer the drs said no treatment for...my other aunts & uncles in the medical field wouldn't take that for a answer and found treatment for him, just got the news that the new experimental chemo (embolized) has STOPPED THE GROWTH!!!! They will take the other half of the tumor out this week and PRAISE GOD ITS LOOKING BETTER EVERY DAY FOR HIM!!! They told him in January he had 1~ 3 months because it had gone into his arteries and there was nothing they could do so massive prayers chains were started & have continued..... I firmly believe in the power of prayer.
My prayer for myself...to have a little relief from my pain that is extreme today. I really wanted to go to church today!!!! And my hunting blind is missing me! I know the deer are watching for me lol. But seriously..
Txs in advance for all who participate respectfully :)
Have a blessed day

Jonah it isn't easy, but my husband does everything possible to make it possible. He builds me blinds that are heated. I don't have to walk or I wouldn't be able to walk out lol ;)
He drops me off and picks me up. The days I can't make it makes me feel bad because he works so hard for me to try to have a little bit of
” normalcy”. He's a good man I'm blessed to have! If not for him I would have to have given up everything I enjoy doing. He enjoys helping anyone hunt, we've had wounded warriors and many children over the years. But since having to move from the farm we haven't done much the past few years. I hope we can get back to doing that for people...and I miss my ” home”.:)
I'm sorry that you are not able and pray that you will soon find an opportunity to do so, somehow, someway! I went to Alabama to hunt they have AMAZING places set up for disabled Hunters and can be done very cheaply (trust me lol). I harvested a doe from the final hunting soot but saw deer everywhere and they have it totally accessible if you happen to be in a wheelchair. You can drive right up to the blind and wheel right in. I was very impressed! Let me know if you ever want the info for it.
I feel so sorry for anyone and everyone in pain today it must be the weather, just talked to my Dad & other friends and they are all cringing in pain!

Good morning Melvin! Nice to have you and a good Blessed day to you as well. It is nice to have a good discussion. I'd much rather laugh, it is more fun!
I love to laugh, it keeps the spirits up and is said to be a pain reliever :)

Well said honkykong,,,well said. So,with respect to the idea that every individual's interpretation of a "true" higher power varies quite a bit,I'll say,,,"may the Force that's right, real, and true,,,guide you for the remainder of your days".And hopefully,,,the rest of us as well. Thanks bro'.

Hi Honey Bee, we haven`t heard from you in a while. Hope you and yours are doing o.k., and I hope your Father is getting better. It`s been eight years since my quintuple bypass and I was on life support two weeks and in the hospital two months so I know what it`s like. I pray that the Lord gives your husband strength. Write back when you can! p.s. How old is your Dad?

Thanks all. My dad is doing well.
My best friends dad is not however. They were on a family vacation when his kidneys completely shut down. He is in a coma in another state they are deciding wether or not to stop care today. My heart is breaking for her.... They actually had to pull him out of the car onto gas station pavement so she could do CPR while waiting for ambulance,(she is a trauma) nurse...a patient is one thing, but your daddy,,,I cannot imagine :(
Makes problems of the day seem less stress worthy huh?
Have a great weekend all and God Bless you all.
