I'm waiting on George R. R. Martin's latest novel which could be several years. I enjoy several charactersfrom the Game of Thrones series. I began reading Mark Twain's / Samuel Clemen's biography months ago. Terry Goodkind's Naked Empire kept me enthralled for hours. Reading, poetry and gardening are my favorite pastimes. Can't wait until spring:)

I have relatives suggesting everything under the sun for insomnia. Sometimes the chamomile works, more often not. Books often help. I just can't concentrate like I used to.

Good evening bird threaders. Had a great lunch and full day shopping with my two best friends. On to UK party which was bummed out after our star player Nerlens Noel went down and taken to a Florida hospital. Possible ACL knee injury from what it looked like. He was in major pain. Hoping and praying for this young player to be alright. Not just because we need him.:)

There were magnificent. I had to laugh when I see the horse story had made it as the Godvine story like so many videos do. I had to watch it again, it is so funny.
Smart Horse Helps His Pals Escape From a Stable
We knew horses were smart, but we didn't know they were THIS smart! Watch as one of God's beautiful creatures outwits his owners and helps himself and his friend out of their stalls!

haha, I agree. That horse wasn't having any of that competition. It definitely looked like it was deliberate. I love the animal videos. lol
I also like the love, compassion, and effort that humans display trying to save them. I post allot of those too! Here's one I seen today:
This frigid swimming pool is no place for a blind horse
Meet Payton, a blind horse who wandered away from her Indiana home and plunged into a neighbor's frigid swimming pool. Jack Harvey discovered the stranded horse in his pool Sunday morning and called for help, but when the horse began to shiver and lose consciousness, Harvey and a sheriff's deputy brought his Jeep to the side of the pool and used a winch to help guide her to the shallow end, cutting the pool cover as she moved along. Finally more help arrived and a team coaxed Payton up the steps and onto dry land, bundling her up with blankets in Harvey's heated garage. Payton's now been returned to her thankful owner and is doing fine.

Speaking of smart, I see a girl in Essux, was recently tested and found to have an IQ of 161. Well, that's good and all but I just can't date a woman with an IQ ten points higher than me,, no way.

Cat and fox pals prove unlikely animal friends might be the sweetest
It's hard to decide which is cuter: the fluffy fox or the soft-looking white kitty with the little black Mohawk stripe. But cutest of all might be the unlikely friendship between these two creatures that's as touching as it is surprising. Click through the photos above to see them frolic and play together on rocky terrain. A little harmless wrestling (never mind those sharp teeth), some scampering (with the cat chasing the fox, no less), and finally, a happy snuggle. Can we get a collective "Aw"?[Source]
God's creatures are amazing.

Hi Bird peeps. Glad to see everyone tonight. I've been laying low today, not feeling well again.
Two days ago heart palpations started back up again with a vengeance and I just generally feel like crap. Getting dizzy spells again, periods of being lightheaded, and shortness of breath too. It comes and goes. I have no idea what's going on, but I have a feeling that I probably have another artery that's severely blocked again. It's too soon though, since not long ago I had an angioplasty with stent placements.
So those of you who believe in prayer, could you send some my way? It's too early for me to start having symptoms like this already after my last procedure and I'm getting worried. On top of these symptoms, it causes me to have severe panic attacks because I don't know yet what's going on.. Anyone who's ever had a heart attack is well aware that you don't generally know one is coming until it stomps your butt...
Thanks guys. I'd appreciate all the prayers you all can muster up. There is power in numbers!! And I believe in the power of prayer!!

Oh no, I was just thinking about you with my bird videos for the night, plus we had noticed you hadn't been here. I think lala even mentioned it. I am so sorry to hear about that and yes, we will definitely pray for you. Hope you are okay. I just posted about heart attacks. You are right there is power in numbers. Hope you feel better.

‎~ 02/12/13: Mom & Dad Surprise Us With A Visit ~
Mom and Dad make a brief appearance on camera today and tidy up the original nest a bit about 1:43pm CST.(They did not bring any nesting materials or sticks in on this visit.) About 8 minutes later, vocals were heard in an apparent off camera mating. Our thanks to video maker 989razzle who has combined both the nest visit and off cam vocals in this link.
We are still unsure of which nest our Mom & Dad intend to use, but as we are approaching egg laying time pretty soon, we will just keep watching and waiting. We will let you know as soon as they have determined which nest they will use for 2013.
Decorah Eagles Surprise Visit & Mating Vocalizations 2-12-13
I love watching these Eagles and their young. Can't wait to see which one they decide to use. If you love bird watching, watching these Eagles.

Thanks AB. I'm feeling the exact same way I was before my last cardio crash. And like I said, this is too soon. I just had a procedure done not long ago. So something isn't right.
Thanks for the prayers. I can't pass away yet. All I ask of the Lord is for me to outlive my critter babies. And that's not really a far fetched request. They're all getting pretty old now.
The medical tests and whatnot just take SO long to get the results back from. I know that these panic attacks have GOT to stop. They're not healthy either. Stress is a huge no-no...
I've done everything I can do. Diet changes, no sodium, aspirin, plenty of water, meds taken on the HOUR they are due, etc. Problem is? This is another hereditary family trait. One of three, with cancer being the only one I've been spared from so far. My diet was healthy even before this. So the diabetes and heart condition just came because they're the cards I was dealt.
Thanks again for the prayers!
#85811 Feb 12, 2013
You are most welcome "Nope", I hope you feel better. All three of those medical kills run deep in my family genes. Anyone of us could be next. I try not to worry about it but do all I can to prevent it and just live life. We all have to deal with dark clouds hanging over us from time to time. Just stay positive and continue praying. Prayers are our strongest defense. They work and the more praying for you the better.
Get some rest and keep up posted.
I am off to bed, it has been an eventful day and I am whooped.

To you all;
God please bless my family,
wherever they may be.
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For theyre so close to me.
And God, there is just one more thing
I wish that You could do;
Hope You dont mind me asking,
can You bless my computer too?
Now I know that its unusual
to Bless a motherboard.
But listen just a second
while I explain it all to You.
You see that little metal box
holds more than odds and ends;
Inside those small compartments
rest so many of my friends.
I know so much about them
by the kindness that they give,
and this little scrap of metal
takes me in to where they live.
By faith is how I know them,
much the same as You.
We share in what life brings us
and from that our friendships grew.
Please take an extra minute
from Your duties up above,
to bless those in my chat rooms
that are filled with so much love.

Same here on loving life. I love to listen to piano, but after 6 years of lessons I still can't play and especially now that Arthur sits on my hands. I don't call it weird though, I prefer to call it "unique" and I have always liked unique things and unique people who did not feel like they had to be like someone else. "To Thine Own Self, Be True".
I have lived alone since the wife went to the nursing facility 9 years ago and passed 7 years ago. I have no need for nor plans to change life styles, but I do have many friends (and 22 chickens and a dog) lol.
