the fremont mayor and council are very corrupt. they tried to slip it past the voters once again but did not suceed. the council members that wanted this re-vote are the ones who are the slumlords. they would lose alot of money if this ordenence(sp) did not pass. the city of fremont is so corrupt, but the voters, for the most part, are to stupid to see it. this is why fremont gets away with whatever they want. hopefully this will change very soon. fremont has gone nowhere in the last 40 or 50 years and it will not go anywhere as long as this kind of "leadership" is in office.
