My elderly neighbors had a friend order ONE Recliner on their behalf, with the intent to buy another if they liked it. The friend dealt with "BOB". Bob was the "typical" salesman and offered to ship the chair before charging the credit card to see if the couple liked the chair. The day it was delivered, the friend called "BOB" and said the couple loved the recliner, please order and ship the second (that was on Friday, July 3rd).
On Saturday, July 4th - the wife of the couple passed away. The friend immediately called "BOB" to tell him to please not ship the chair because the woman had died and he said it wouldn't be a problem - he would cancel the order for the second chair AND gave his condolences.
On July 6, 2009, "BOB" NOT ONLY CHARGED THE COUPLE FOR BOTH CHAIRS, BUT NEVER DELIVERED HE SECOND CHAIR. SINCE THAT DAY, I HAVE BEEN CALLING AND CALLING AND CALLING AND "BOB" KEEPS GIVING ME THE RUN-AROUND. One day his account is on vacation - one day he's going to put the funds back on the account the next day, etc., etc., etc.
He has been so unprofessional, uncooperative and in my opinion... A THIEF. I was so angry that I went to this store myself and DEMANDED "BOB" put the money back into the elderly couples' account. Again, in person, he promised he would. Needless to say... he didn't.
I called the couples bank card customer service and had the widower file a dispute. As of this date (09/04/09), it is still pending.
I would NEVER shop here and if I know anyone that is even thinking about it - I will deter them. HOW DARE THIS "COMPANY".
I am now filing a complaint with the BBB.
