$30 billion to coal industry from federal government.

I would rather see $30 billion go to endowment fund for scholarships for Ph.D. students at MIT and invent a new technology that doesn't rely on coal, natural gas, or oil for energy.

Same old tired solutions, fund our friends and not solve the problem. If coal is so competitive, then it should survive as an industry without government subsidy. Fund education, commerce will take care of itself!

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Capricorn

Self deception will be the main issue today. You may be judging your situation wrongly: don't hold back, say what you think diplomatically and without being hurtful. This should result in a positive mental outlook for you. Competitive sports activity will ease any stress or tension.
