23 weeks... isn't that far enough along in the justational period to remove the twins? If she's HIV positive, it doesn't necessarily mean the twins are yet... Would consideration be given to removing the twins now to prevent transmission?

Oh, he APOLOGIZED. Well, that's different! Just as long as he's sorry. It was an accident. He didn't mean to. My dog ate my homework. He forgot he has a life-threatening disease that may kill her and their unborn children. He won't do it again.

This is horrible. Did he get it after she was pregnant? They need to give more details, other than that this is sad. Damn this is fucked up. If she has it then the babies have to have it. Isnt it tru that you can have aids for awhile without actually knowing?

Tiffany, READ very carefully, the article said he had HIV since 2002 she is 23 weeks now, so do the math and figure that question out okay.

Tiffany, he has had HIV since 2002 and she is only 23 weeks along in the pregnancy. I doubt he got AIDS after she was pregnant.

Would consideration be given to removing the twins now to prevent transmission? there are drugs that the woman can take to help prevent the children from getting it, but the mother ideally needs to know that she's HIV positive BEFORE getting pregnant or very early on.. If they DON'T have it, I would think removing them early would be even MORE risky because you up the chances of blood/bodily fluids mixing from the procedure.
