Here we go again, Irvington, now wants to create a historical district so they can make it even more difficult for homeowners to renovate, expand, demolish and even sell their old homes. The village of Irvington has become a very difficult place to get anything approved. Just go and observe one of the planning board meetings and you will understand what I'm talking about. Why does it need to take 10 years to rezone a parcel of land across the train tracks. It seems to me that the village is constantly poking its nose in property owners rights . It's time for the residents of Irvington to stand up and say No! Owners have rights and those rights need to be respected!
