Wal-mart opponents sue Haverstraw
Opponents of the proposed Minisceongo Park project have filed two lawsuits against the Town of Haverstraw in an attempt to stop a Wal-mart from being built in their community.

A Walmart Supercenter will create jobs and keep much needed tax revenues in our town. Many of us who do not oppose already shop at Walmart in Monroe giving them the revenues

Haverstraw really needs this Walmart Supercenter and I hope it is built rather quickly. There have been times I need something quick in the late night and have been forced due to the circumstance to drive to Monroe's walmart since they are the only ones open. The Walmart at suffers does not stay open 24 hours. So from hardware to a midnight snack and even grocery shopping for those who work late or just prefer to shop at night, I truely hope that this project moves forward quickly and without delays.

Looks like we will be shopping at a Supercenter walmart in Haverstraw after all. Royal properties has been chosen to manage the shops at Mt Ivy which will be anchored by a super walmart on route 202 and exit 13 of the palisades pkwy
