Yea, when pigs fly....

the cow was actually attempting to hurdle a lunar obstacle

"Officials said the barn owner reported seeing a cow blown in the air by the high winds."

But when all of this is heard by a jury months from now, the farmer will claim that the cow was actually jumping, the dish ran away with the spoon, and, that his wife buried herself in the cornfield.

The farmer best quit tasting the ethanol as it is causing him to hallucinate. 80 MPH winds aren't going to pick up an animal weighing several hundred pounds.

Maybe we should conduct a fun experiment.

Does this have anything to do with the 40 traveling salesmen kicked out of the hotel in Morhead?

I'm heading for Valley City this weekend! My brother-in-law farms near there. I'll see if there was any damage to his place.

The first thing I thought of when I read this was the tornado scene from "The Wizard of Oz".

The guy was probably a grad of Valley City HS, they are known as the Hi-Liners..now me know the rest of the story...the tornado in chicago picked up an 80# rottweiler and sent him for a 1 block ride (dog is ok..)that storm at that location was a strong EF1 -EF2 125MPH winds, so a 600# cow...Hi-(gh)-Liner..final answer.

First the National Geographic story, now this happens. This is some kind of conspiracy. I'm not sure what they are trying to do, but it's a concerted plot. Maybe Canada is doing this as part of their master plan to annex ND.

Little birdie in the sky,
Dropped some whitewash in my eye.
Me no baby, me no cry,
I'm just glad that cows can't fly. ;)
