I feel that CTVEA is a monopoly and that they are over charging their customer's. I have asked several officials in this town why another cable company is not allowed to come to Phenix City and no one either has an answer or is willing to answer. If you have problems either with cable services or internet and you call in, CTVEA takes their sweet time in looking into the problem. I feel that CTVES is scared to have another company come to Phenix City, because they would loose too many customer's to another company. I also feel that ctvea is either paying city officials or providing them with free service just to keep other companie's out. And as for the owner of ctvea being over 80 and doesn't play golf, well he has made enough money off the people of this town to hire someone to play for him. CTVEA IS OUT RIGHT DENYING THE PEOPLE OF PHENIX CITY THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE IF THEY WANT CTVEA OR SOMEONE ELSE, and to me that makes them a monopoly.

I know for damn sure your not talking about free enterprise in Phenix City and Russell County are you? We like to talk about it and toss the word around because it sounds really American and all...But that's just not how we do things around here buddy!

Did you know that anyone with the money can open up their own business? Why don't you open up a cable company yourself? Take action!
