News is news, but what about the victim's rights or privacy? Some diplomacy should have been used in reporting this violent crime in order to save her as much embarrassment as possible. Such detail shows no consideration for her feelings. She not only was violated by this animal that should not have been free to start with; but your news coverage also violated her nightmare experience. Your detailed coverage could also very well result in the selection of a jury, or furnish his attorney with ammunition to say that with the public news coverage his client might not get a fair trial. This criminal will have more rights than the victim.
