I have been looking for work after graduating high school and decided to start substitute teaching. I have a friend in the teaching profession and she tells me that I should not look to teaching in the Valley or Lanett areas because the students are terrible. She says that the students are second rate and the majority of them are boarderline retarded. She says that the good students are overtaken by 5x in the bad student area.

She says that from what her colleges tell her, that you have to spend the majority of class time trying to get them to shut up or behave because they act like animals. She even goes on to say that the blacks are terrible and are the most troublesome that a person will ever encounter.

She mentions something about a basketball riot is the best example of a Valley school student.

Just wanted input on this.
