Two teenagers were shot early Sunday morning, but Vallejo authorities said both victims were expected to survive.

OMG, lots of negative opinions about Vallejo; reading this one would have the impression that these shootings are happening only in Vallejo. In truth, shootings are occuring throughout the Bay Area; sad but true.

This is the age of narcissism, "...it's all about me..."; It takes a COMMUNITY to raise a child. Back in the day we knew that our neighbors watched our every move and would be the first to call your mother when you did something wrong. Remember that? Or was this only done in NYC?

What happened? Why do we try to shut ourselves off from the world, sit back and then complain of the changes taking place?

We can no longer sit and hope others will do the work for us; it's not going to work, look around. If we do decide to sit around and do nothing, things will get worse.
