Vallejo's Erin Hannigan sworn in as a Solano County supervisors

It was standing room only Tuesday in the Solano County Board of Supervisors Chambers as three supervisors were formally sworn in to office.

Supervisor Linda Seifert was re-elected to represent District 2 and will once again serve as the board's chair after a unanimous vote from her colleagues.

Supervisor Skip Thomson is once again serving on the board, and will represent District 5 after he left the post in 2002. He was chosen vice chair.

Supervisor Erin Hannigan, who recently left the Vallejo City Council with three years remaining in her term, will represent District 1. She succeeds Barbara Kondylis, who opted against seeking a sixth term. Jess Malgapo took office Monday night in Vallejo as Hannigan's successor on the Vallejo council.

Seifert, who also served as chair in 2012, said that during the next four years she hopes to secure a funding source for parks and recreation in order to preserve open space since Solano County is one of few California counties without a steady revenue stream for that department.

Seifert also wants to see the county continue work on protecting agriculture, water and the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta.

Hannigan said her parents instilled in her to be humble and to always give back to the community.

"This is a great day for all of us," Hannigan said. "I'm looking forward to serving my community in my hometown with my colleagues."

Holding his 2-month-old grandson, Thomson told the packed chamber that all the supervisors have one goal: to make the best county government it can be.

"This is the reason so many of us get into politics," Thomson said, referring to the little guy in his arms. He added that it's a privilege to serve on the board again and he "hopes to meet your expectations."

MY, MY, MY - appears that was her word of the day, guess it is better than ME, ME, ME.
MY guess is that she will accomplish nothing, much like she did on MY council in MY community with MY councilmembers.
haven't you ever heard that loudmouth gomes refer to "my city", "my waterfront", "my quality of life"?
oh yeah

Ahhhh, guess that makes Hannigan a loudmouth too, in your mind.
Wish that Hannigan had accomplished something, she will not be remembered for doing anything for us.
If you do not agree, please list her achievements for us.
she supported the tax increase that got marti her play money, right? now, what has gomes done, besides fuel labor unrest? and cause the police not to want to work here. oh, well, you wanted them all to leave anyway, right?

Well, make up your mind. Previously you bawled about Erin dumping the parolee in H'brooke that murdered his own mother. Is this NOT correct?
