Amazing how more thugs and criminals are moving to Vallejo. Nice easy target for whatever they want.

True, the hard working cops still in Vallejo will catch some of them, but it is impossible to be everywhere with so little help.

Good luck Vallejo Police and remember to stay safe first. Without the proper backing, you need to go home at night.

The city needs more Blue Knights to protect us. I am sure my good friend Samuel will agree. Good luck in this case gentlemen. I will lend a hand when the opportunity presents itself.

Bull crap, no one believes it.

The only one who is out of control is you.

You need a b i t c h slap to bring you to your senses.

You under estimated the intelligence of and the ability of the people of Vallejo to learn the truth and separate it from the lies.

Folks,

I never came on here to win a popularity contest.
You can hate me all you want.

Just believe me when I say that Vallejo is a good city with good, decent people from all economic, social and racial backgrounds who are sick and tired of having the PSU leaders and membership lie to us about Vallejo being a ghetto, Vallejo not being a safe place to go outside and Vallejo not being a safe place to shop.

This is the dirtiest and lowest form of intimidation that exists. That being the spreading of malicious lies in order to terrify and pressure the citizens into backing down and to do the same to our city's leaders.

The PSU propaganda machine failed to realize how smart and how united we are and they are beside themselves because everything they have done to divide us to date has failed.

Stay united for divided we fall.

Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless you!

Honestly, I have lived in Vallejo my entire life and I do not consider myself a thug of any sort or in danger. The victems of these crimes are in fact victims BUT certain things you know better than to do in a city of poverty. I am not saying that you shouldn't go out at night walking, but use common SENSE, take your dog with you, don't carry cash, stay away from allys. Our police force works their hind ends off just trying to keep tabs on the juivinilles here, they cant be held responsible for not being everywhere.=/ I think they're doin a dang good job.
I am 20 years old live in down town and walked to and from work everyday for a year and never have been mugged or assaulted. Its not that bad, you just have to be smarter than the average thug.

And we're STILL way down that list.

I don't think it's just the PSU smearing Vallejo. I think there are some serious trolls obsessed with this town.

The Vallejo Police are corrupt and inept. But the town is equally at fault.

The sad truth is that working class people are less likely to be educated and less likely to hold elected officials accountable. Therefore corrupt council people and government agencies milk the town without any reaction. The navy was just as bad as people passing through are less likely to let down roots.

It's been the class of people that have moved in due to the economic diaspora from SF that have been holding the local government to a level of accountablilty they are not used to. As more educated and empowered people move to Vallejo out of economic choice ( cheap home prices) the officials can't get away with what they used to.

I support cops, but the Vallejo police are worthless.

If you are going to make quotes with statistics than research the current facts or do not quote them as though they are correct.

The five most crime ridden cities in California are, in order: Oakland, Compton, Richmond, Stockton and Vallejo. Vallejo is ranked (43) worst for crime in the United States.

Vallejo needs more police period.

Sorry to be fair, I should have noted the 2009 national rakings for the other 4 worst in crime cities mentioned above: Oakland (3),Compton (12), Richmond (14), Stockton (36) but Vallejo was noted for under reporting crime.

Just to compare to a neighbor, Vacaville was ranked (305).

Again get your facts correct before you post and again we need more police.
