Telling the truth wrote: You can thank ouir last mayor for all the low income housing. You see his lilly white daughter got banged by a worthless (N)(E)(G)(R0(o) wit no life and found his daughter was one of those dumb honkey tramps that needed a place to live with the 50/50 baby wt no daddy. So for years he banged us with low income housing and thayts why we have CRIME< BAD SCHOOLS and no business whats to be here. It has nothing to do with city hall. all they have to do is a survey of the types of children here and the crime and they say (F0(U)(C)(K) NO we whities what nothing to do with that ghetto hole. So quit blaming city hall and the council people. It has everything to do with out schools and the amount of blacks in the city. <quoted text> Like Oakland......like Richmond.........like Detroit..........like Cleveland..........I could list a few more.........

Great job VPD did that night....I had 7-10 people banging on my front door and jumping over my fence into the backyard to let them in my house. I called 911 three times and no officer came.

That Elks club is a disgrace to Elkdom. Shabby clubhouse, old white geezers an ad hoc RV park and of course terrible and ignorant management and leadership. Did they ask for ID from the promoter? Did they do a background check? Did they collect a several thousand dollar deposit? I assume this was a negro party. Do I need to say more?

What is sad, is that our Vallejo city council condones this behavior. The police work hard to keep Vallejo clean, but Vallejo city council just keeps putting up hurdles for all good people in Vallejo.

Spoonie: Since when did teens/adults ever respect a private security guard? If they are not strapped, they're not respected. Like I said, it's not totally VPD's fault for not responding to Merryman's initial call. Responding to a large group of party-goers is probably not on there "priority list" of responding to 911 calls due to Vallejo being bankrupt. For me, I have a love/hate relationship with VPD. As for the name calling, it was uncalled for. People like you cannot have a civil conversation over the web (probably not even in person) without insulting someone and if you were to say that to my face, you would be laid out. If you still can't see the "real problem", then you are the problem.
Bluebird:Sorry for not having a scanner. I have no business of owning one anyway. So you're telling me that it almost took them an 1hr to stage before they arrive to the lodge? Why couldn't they stage @ the lodge before the party-goers "went from 150 to 250 people to about 500 people ... within 20 minutes or so". They also had other cities to back them up too. It's good that you pray for the VPD all the time but, you ever pray the young teens out there hoping that they will be able to see another day? Also same to you, calling people names does not make you feel any better or put you on a higher pedestal than the next person. You just brought yourself down like the rest of the scum.
If anyone has been paying attention to the crime that has been happening in Vallejo since the city went bankrupt, it's has been highly on the rise due to lack of law enforcement. Less officers = More crime

The cops were grouping up at another place so they could roll in with more than one or two cars in response to the large crowd call. While they were grouping or "staging" the shots were fired and those brave cops went in a crowd of over 400 with all they had at that instant which was for or five cops!!! VPD rocks and I pray for them all the time!! I'm with you! Who in this list of cop haters would have walked into a crowd like that? Frankly, given this type of courage, they're worth every dime and benefit they get.

Right after your picture all hell broke loose when a bunch of girls jumped another girl and those cops stop her from getting stomped. Also they had already made sure the girl that got shot was out of the area. Thanks VPD I could not do what you all do for people everyday.

Maybe you're part of the problem... you've yet to say anything positive or hopeful. If it's been so bad for 45 years, GET OUT and stay out of the way... we're moving ahead focused on making things better.

Bob Sampayan wrote: If I were still working for VPD, this would not have happened. The problem is the current officers and supervisors at VPD don't know how to address these types of calls. This could have been prevented with very simple policing practices. I would recommend a citizens review board look into this incident and make recommendations for the police to improve how they handle their calls in the future. By the way why are you not still working for the VPD? Just a thought.

It is not like you are trying to change a country that has been doing crazy things for thousands of years. This is 40 plus years later and still no change, all that says is that it will never change because the scum bags have kids that turn out to be scum bags and so the area stays the same.

This is the same kind of crap that destroyed Halloween in the Castro. People have just become animals.
The "ghettoization" of the country has become so prevalent that we as a nation have forgotten how to act in a civil manner. Being a "thug" is all the rage while being human is not such a high priority.
Eventually this kind of behavior will cause the nation to devolve into the worst kind of "jungle" that can be imagined. We will become a violent third world conglomorant of animals with no regard for life of any sort.
Of course, that will just give the rest of us the right to take the law into our own hands. And it will happen if this sort of thing continues.
