A woman's purse was stolen from a shopping cart at a new grocery store in town Saturday night, Vallejo police said.

At about 7:05 p.m., the victim was putting her baby inside the car in the parking lot of FoodMaxx, 1740 Tuolumne St., when a male suspect snatched her purse from inside her cart, police said.

He was then seen fleeing the scene in a black car, possibly a Nissan Maxima, with a Team Chevrolet paper plate.

This was the second call of a similar report within two days, police said.

FoodMaxx had a grand opening Wednesday.

Shouldn't Foodmax have some responsibility to insure the safety of their customers? Keep your eyes open and remember if you see blacks you know they are looking for trouble. The city is crawling with oobamas children, just waiting for an opportunity to rob, steal, lie and cheat, following the footsteps of our American imposter.

A simple tip when returning to your vehicle with a full cart, loading baby not included:

Before loading items into your trunk or rear hatch/cargo space, toss your purse as far forward as you can and under the dash. Lock doors so the only thing unlocked is the hatch door or trunk lid.
Do not lay down the key inside the vehicle and empty the cart as you most likely will forget that you did this!! Remember these doors will also be locked (at least in my vehicle), so do not slam them shut with the key being inside.

If you did not lock your vehicle while unloading: When returning the cart to the corral, make sure all doors are indeed locked, if not you may find a surprise in the passenger or back seat.

When I do not have a pocket I stick the keys into my bra as locking the keys into the vehicle is inconvenient when you want to gain entry to the vehicle after slamming the hatch door and or trunk lid. Also your spouse will be highly critical when he brings the spare key!

But best of all be vigilant and aware of your surroundings when exiting a store and returning to your vehicle. If you suspect anything amiss, turn and walk back into the store and ask for someone to return to the vehicle with you.

....and to all the Ladies who insist on bringing an overnight sized bag to their shopping trip, invest in a small bag with only the items needed for that trip and wear it "old Lady style" across the body. It may save you a lot of grief and anxiety, maybe even your life!
