Hmmm. So do you work for their marketing team or the PR group? You didn't answer my questions though. I take it that they aren't unionized so what is the pay? Minimum wage or living wage? What exactly does "pay their employees well enough to keep them" mean? There are a whole lot of people who stay on with a job, not because it's necessarily wonderful but because jobs are scarce.
JPT has been here for ages, stupid.

And great posts, JPT. Vallejo could use some fresh blood on the grocery front; Raley's, though overpriced, is about the only decent grocery store we have.(I think Lucky's, Grocery Outlet and FFS are a matter of taste...Lucky's used to be good, now they are better than Safeway but that's not saying a while lot imho.) Safeway has been declining all over for quite some time, and no, they have never demonstrated any loyalty to ANY of their communities. So heck with them. Of course, Curious thinks Bonfaire is worth keeping, so what do we know LOL!!!

Thank you for your kind words, Saint Vincent.

I completely agree on your assessment of Vallejo's supermarkets in terms of preference and position.

What's really amazing is how whether Winco is union or not is so important. Most unions are a blight on society especially public sector. Out here in the real world I don't get a guaranteed raise every year, guaranteed retirement and can't be fired for any reason. Winco would be great for Vallejo, if the others can't compete its their fault.

Vallejo is a mistake! Hope you can absorb the losses in theft by employees and customers alike.
Then again, WinCo is not much more then a higher class of a welfare food store. One will note the user crowd during a visit.
What a stupid thing to say I have to stretch my money and winco is a great store not for just welfare people ugh ignorance should be against the law
