Court refuses to dismiss Old School case

It is time for the court to go beyond the mere allegations of the complaint. The court must not allow the City to proceed on a hunch. The City of Ontario 's civil lawsuit against Victoria Miller, owner of the local business Old School, is proceeding after Vale attorney Brian Zanotelli's motion to dismiss the case was rejected Jan. via Argus Observer

I guess the City forgot to include with their lawsuit, all of the zip-n-rips that sell tobacco papers (could be used to roll pot), the other "tobacco" shops, and of course the grocery stores! People are using these illegally and cigarettes could cause death, so shouldn't those store owners be held accountable too? Oh yeah, I forgot! The City of Ontario has an abundance of tax payer dollars to fund their "witch hunt" on the Old School owner. Shame on the City! Get busy on proposals for road improvement and how our tax dollars should really be spent!

This is pretty stupid. We have head shops like this one all over town. But they are smart enough to put up signs that warn if you talk about illegal drugs you get the boot.

It also goes to show that if you run a store like this you should be really careful when it comes to employees...

I guess there are no other problems in this town and all they have to do is mess with people just trying to make a living. How does this happen when gas stations all over the place can sell glass roses?
