The Valdosta Office, Georgia Dept. of Veterans Service, Janet Pajerowski

A visit to the Valdosta office of the Georgia Department of Veterans Service brings a veteran in contact with two veterans in a small office.

One of those persons is Ms. Janet Pajerowski. Ms. Pajerowski is the first silver-haired witch I have ever met, and though I did not see any warts on her nose or a broomstick, I am sure she must conceal one somewhere!

Without a doubt, she is one of the rudest individuals I have ever had the displeasure to meet. Why the Georgia Department of Veterans Service would employee this woman is beyond my understanding.

Normally, I allow rudeness to roll off my salty feathers, figuring that the other person must be having a bad day, but Ms. Pajerowski is abusive and there is no reason for her behavior.

If there is no quality control, then shame on the Georgia Department of Veterans Service, a state agency! Everyone who comes in contact with Ms. Pajerowski should have an opportunity to evaluate her until she learns to fake it! The witch may be inside her but she can hide the witch until she is off work and then she can display her true colors in her home life!

Ms. Pajerowski is in a service business and her attitude is not about flying around a room on a broomstick mistreating veterans! Trust me, this opinion is shared by others! She can change her attitude and change her destiny or she should be shown the door!

The stated Mission is "To Provide Courteous and Professional Service In A Courteous And Supportive Work Environment." The Mission Statement, which is in the Reception Room and in Ms. Pajerowski's office uses "Courteous" twice. I do not believe this was by accident! I suggest that the Georgia Department of Veterans Service would be better served without the services of Ms. Pajerowski and I am confident that an audit of her conduct towards veterans will result in her termination. If proven true, I hope the door breaks her broomstick on her way out the door!

How much truth can be in this comment when the person making it does not even give his name. Janet is an excellent Manager who sees on average of 150 to 200 veterans a week with about 1% or less of them complaining. At least the ones who do, leave their name unlike this person. If you don't like the Valdosta office you can always go somewhere else,

Excellent, now you claim to be her supervisor.... You concealed your identity previously.... Why should we believe you.... Where are your 360 evaluations? Get real....

As others have written, perform your due diligence! Conduct a survey of everyone she has come in contact with and see how she treats people.

If any Veteran needs assistance, the DAV representatives are available every Tuesday between 0900 and 1300 at the community center on Gornto (near the theater). These men are extremely knowledgable and they are Veterans VOLUNTEERING to help other Veterans. They gladly assisted me when the PAID employees were too busy to learn a new law passed by Congress. BTW, if you are a supervisor and your employees are failing, you are also failing.

Since my comments seem to have disappared, I am going to place them here again with my name, My father-in law passed away in July and I took my mother-in-law in to get her benefits started and we had the terrible experience of dealing with this person.(that's putting it nicely), She did not know the difference in disabled and retired! She tried to give us all kind of trouble about what he was. then when she called someone and found out that we were right, she yanked the papers out of my hand and was so rude that no one in the office could believe it!! Lots of stares! I made one more trip to that office to which I encountered the same treatment... tried to deal with the gentlemen in the office but she would not leave so I could. She stood over him while I was talking to him. I called Philly, PA and did all of the paperwork myself to which I called House of Rep to report this office as I also did to PA. Her benefits were started within 6 wks by no help of Janet or this office.. Most horrible experience at a very difficult time..uncalled for!! She should never be allowed to deal with the public!

She should have been fired her first day.I have never been treated so rudely for asking a simple question.

I lost my house because of that bitch.
None of the veterans service in valdosta is adequate. But yet they still get checks. I'm tired of it and want to do somethin public to get the attention we veterans need

We will see ill make sure of that. Janet is a screw up and doesn't even deserve her Job she doesn't even keep up with new entitlements. We want her gone

Please file your complaints with the Legislature and the governor and anywhere else you can in Georgia. This woman deserves to be fired! Refuse to allow her to serve you. Call in, set an appointment, and insist that only the man will be allowed to assist you. Make detailed notes as to times and everything said while you are in the offices. Make notes of the names of persons present. Obtain their phone numbers. Evidence is your best weapon!
