I think it was a murder case! But the thing was about the situation is how can they not find any leads to the case? When if it were any one else they would know the time, date and how they passed! It was really sad. When I went on facebook and went under my friends I saw that he was 1 of them. Strange because I have never said a word to him this happend to me twice with him and the latest trayvon Martin. I am 16 and I wish your family the best.

Oh my word. I'm sorry but the last two comments were so full of ignorance both grammatically and information-wise. There is nothing on this boy indicating he was murdered. Quit makiing this a racial issue. They have new information on Trayvon Martin that indicates that he DID IN FACT attack the man who killed him. I am so tired of the black community blaming everything on race. Let's let the investigators get through with the case and then make a judgement.

I personally knew Kendrick and the story the investigators gave doesn't even sound like something he would do . I believe this is a murder case and somebody is hiding something ! This is not right and things are not adding up ! Something needs to be done ASAP !!!

This story makes no sense, it has nothing to do with his skin color.
I would expect there to be security cameras that show something; who he was with or if he was alone. But it really sounds like a prank gone wrong. Somebody took his shoe and threw it in the hole and left him to get it out himself. Kids talk and I believe if anyone was involved that the cops will find out.

That said; please people, learn how to spell and properly put together a sentence.
Ghetto speak keeps you in the ghetto. If you want to be taken seriously by people outside of the ghetto you have to talk normal. Keep the ebonics at home.

I think you meant to say "...you have to talk normally."

Actually, "speak normally" would have been a better choice. It is just as important to keep the redneck English at home.

I'm using the word "talk" as a noun, the word "normal" as an adjective. No ly is added.
But Thanks for playin'.(That's my redneck speak).

All of the last few comments are ignorant! Use common sense and you will see something ain't right. Valdosta has a lot of issues with the police department. They need to shut it down honestly or find replacements. I was born and raised in Valdosta and was so glad to get away when I grew up. I see a lot hasn't changed.....

I'm sure you, as a redneck, only see this the "white" way. Go on with your bad redneck self.

Btw, we as black people have been brutalized and mistreated for so long, that I feel that we have a right to assume some things are racially motivated! Do you expect us to ignore the past and ongoing atrocities? Here you are attacking grammar? I'll have you know that if you are so politically correct, why are you using racial slurs? Young man would be the term used instead of boy!

It's a shame when all we want in our community is simply justice and peace for this child. It could have been anyone's child of any race. It's foul play and if justice don't come from the system then we all know where it will come from...I don't even have to say His name because He is watching. Then famlilies and friends are still hurting and some of you are having grammar contest. Once again it's something else to throw us off from trying to do what's right when we doing what's right for this child and other children. I pray to God in the name of Jesus we find the truth.

Another thing.....Someone mentioned the ghetto and how ghetto people talk or speak (or whatever). What difference does that make when that child came from a great, happy, loving home and family. I want somebody to talk about my grammar because you know what, it's not going to change the great person I am from the ghetto. I'll rather be a child of God in the ghetto with a big heart than to be cruel to others and have such a simple mind. I can go on and on but it's so sad how some people can be. I don't care where I'm from or what color I am I am proud to say so.

At the end of all of this I am proud to say I am Kendrick Johnson and I will stand for him and his family!

You people seem to forget the real issue here, these parents have lost a child and they must be dealing with much pain. Put your racist comments aside and let this family grieve. If it was your child I am sure your feelings would be the same. If you cannot give this family support in their time of need just say nothing at all. My heart goes out to the family and I hope and pray this kind of pain I hope never to endure, I am told when you lose a child to death it is the worst. So please stop all this ignorance and show some support for this family regardless of your color. This can happen to any of us, just imagine it being your child?
