Ashley is bankrolling JD's second miserable attempt at running. I can't figure out of Ashley thinks he really needs THAT much power since he'll be pulling JD's puppet strings or if Ashley needs a significant tax break and knows throwing money into JD's campaign fire is a sure bet.

All you JD supporters just go ahead and write in "Ashley Paul" cause that's what you're gonna get if JD wins.

i agree,jd is paulks lap dog, but he could just donate that money to jd's new found church and take the tax break that way, with that he could go on the next "missionary" trip to bolivia bird hunting like the rest of the "donaters", no there is something more, could it be he didn't think he could beat prine in 2008?or is it that he can't beat slaughter in the commissioner race,its something that needs to be kept hidden

Yeager has the experience in the office of the Lowndes County Sheriff's office,he can bring up the moral that is at a all time low do to worrying if you are going to have a job the next day. something that people are not aware of is that Prine will fire you if you don't vote for him. Men and women died for our right to vote for who we support! When Prine took office he either fired or demoted people that supported Yeager as well as took people from the road and placed them in the jail to try to make them quite. 27 people were affected by this during his first year. I don't have a problem with Prine just the way he conducts business.

For those of you who seem to think that Paulk will be running things if Yeager wins, you are not using all of your brain potential. Paulk is in a position now that far more powerful than sheriff. If the position of sheriff was so great, he would not have wanted the commission chair. Don't let your minds be clouded, the commission chairman had a little hold on Paulk when he was sheriff just as Paulk has on the current sheriff. If Paulks wants power he would have stayed where he is. The sheriff's office does not grant that kind of power.
Yeager, in my opinion would make a better sheriff simply because he would have a better relationship with the community as a whole. Our current sheriff seems to lack community relations. Say what you want about Paulk but you can't deny his community relation skills. Even if people didn't like him, they respected him. I can't say that about our current sheriff, he has not made himself known to the community as a whole.

Lets talk about jumping the boat! it is apparent you have not seen the picture of the Lowndes County Sheriff boat with 3 very young looking woman on board holding beer in their hands and the boat docked at Prines kin peoples house at the lake, now I ask you why was the boat there to begin with and what were beer drinking woman in bikini's doing on board they damn sure were not deputies!!! Now lets talk about lap dogs ( Joe Crow) with fleas AND BIBLE VERSUS! your % rate is decreasing on a daily basis!

i do work at the sheriffs office and have for 12 years we have no moral problems, any time you have a change in leadership there is a small adjustment period as in any company, the ones that will not conform to change or have let there views be known to the new leaders and its not in line with the vission or mission of the new leaders, their replaced, and life goes on, as for the boat picture it has been proved to be photo enhanced tool of sour grapes on behalf of jd's henchmen,95% of the officers and staff are supporting sheriff prine they don't want a new change without paulk at the helm constraining sheriff prines budgets it will get better and there is alot of animosity towards jd and paulk for promoting jd so fast stepping over vested officers with more years in service, i work with joe crow and he is a good man and a good officer and good for lowndes county,i personaly know jd and don't like him as a man or a officer, he has deep rooted problems and a unharnessed ego larger than paulks, not good for the county, jd would make a good mall cop to control kids

When you pull your head out of Crows and Prines backside and take a breath you might look around and see that you have been duped or you are one of the ones that was given rank that would have never received it if not for butt sniffing. right Mike! As for Joe Crow talk about an ego we will leave it there. As for as the boat picture you can believe that is was photo shopped all you want but there were people there that believe it or not used to be Prine supporters that took the picture. They stated that it was wrong to make a mockery of the Sheriff Office. There are a lot of good men and women that work there that have been looked over. why dont you look into the Teresa Fisher case if you dont believe that the good ol boy system is alive and well at Prineville.
