Anyone in today's politics has at least 1 screw loose. Too bad they can't tighten their screws and do the right thing.

Have you met Beth? She is not from here and will not represent our county. She just wants in an office to "be a politician".

I have met her and know for a fact that she will represent us well.
What has Mitch Glisppi done for McDowell? Beth has the intelligence to get state money through grants and other things to bring jobs here. She will be well liked by the powers that be in Raleigh which is what it takes to get the county needs met, No one in the DEMOCRAT government of raliegh has any good will towards Mitch,

What is not from here mean? She worked in the school system for 10
years.Every kid in school knows her

We citizens in McDowell County need a voice that can be heard saying something besides NO. I do not think our current representative even considers anything that would be good for us. He hasn't brought to our county not one thing but he takes all the credit for things Joe Sam Queen has done even though Mitch, himself voted no.

I shall vote for Beth Ostgaard because she is a lovely person, who works so hard for her community and loves everyone without bigotry. Beth will make unbiased decisions for the good of all.

This is my real name because I strongly believe what I am about to say.

I am no one important.I raise kids, love my grand children,do some volunteer work, help out the schools as much as I can and try to live a decent life.My opinion may not mean a hill of beans to you folks but that's what this forum is here for.

I know Beth Ostguard.I did not know her a year ago.
When I met her and learned she was running for office to replace Mitch Gillespie I made it a point to get to know her.

What I found is a woman dedicated to Education and
finding the funds to support it here in her county.
Willing to go to Raleigh and take on the powers there for her people.

I found a woman who will work to bring JOBS back to her county and her people.

I found a woman that is not another lazy politician.
She works tirelessly for for what she cares about, her county her people.

I found a woman who is known an loved by 10 years of students that she worked with in her county school system.

I found a woman who can and will listen to the people who live here but want Raleigh to hear them.
Beth Ostguard will be our voice.

Like I said I'm nobody important except to my husband, but I took the time to know Beth Ostguard.
If you don't have the time to do this please take my word for her. Most people who know me will tell you I'm truthful.

I will gladly talk to you about her anytime.

I voted for Mitch because he has done so many things for the disabled and veterans.
Please go on line at N.C. General Assembly and check out Mitch's voting record and bills he has introduced over the years. He's done some wonderful things but you don't hear about it.
