Excellent question. What about all the agency vehicles and that expense?

These police and fire fighter funerals are a huge waste of tax payers dollars. In an era when police won't even come to your house to take a stolen property report and the fire dept won't put out a fire at your house unless you pay them a shake down fee.I feel as badly for the fallen police and firefighters but the abuse of tax payers has got to stop.

It was at the family's request that media coverage be limited to one station. Please, think of someone else other than yourselves for once.

Not thinking of myself, but the many invalid people who wish they could go, but could not... Some in Sac can't get channel 7 and don't have internet.

I do respect he family's request; you should not assume otherwise.

Those of you who think they "knowsalot" really bother those of us who do.

Sorry, that was never really revealed. That doesn't mean anyone was thinking just of themselves or you could say that about all the people that attended that didn't have a clue who he was.

Show me the link, I don't buy newspapers and didn't see it online. SOrry. But my point is that many there were there just for themselves, to be seen by the media. If the family wanted no media attention, why didn't they make it a private funeral? What difference does it make if there are more then one TV stations there?
