"he plowed into the rear of a slower moving vehicle." What? Was it a plow or a motorcycle?

"The motorcycle itself caught on fire and was destroyed." Yeah, it was so messed up, they had to put it out of its misery.

Well, bikers, live by the sword, die by the sword. So sad.

Just look around town, most of the harley bikers are speeding and driving recklessly . Add the loud noises and you have a recipe for disaster .They should be banned . They are a menace to society .

You know what, you bunch of idiots! This man happens to be someone's husband, father and uncle! You don't know the exact situation, so don't PASS JUDGEMENT! The extent of injuries is severe, and his family is devastated! Think about them, instead of your own stupid idiotic comments! Don't you have anything better to do???
Hey Emjoe, you OBVIOUSLY don't have anything better to do than comment on other people's miseries! I see you have 3,093 posts! Why don't you put your time to better use than to slam other people's misfortune! Karma's a &!%*$. Don't forget that.

Great...another Emjoe stalker. Dude, I don't even know how many post I've submitted over the years. Why is it that you do ? Stalker.
Of course we feel badly for the families of these idiots who choose to foolishly risk their own lives. Don't ask us to feel sorry for the "victim", though. He CHOSE to ride a motorcycle, he CHOSE to speed, he CHOSE to not pay attention to his surroundings.

Was this tool wearing a helmet ? If so, was it one of those skull helmets, or a full face helmet ?

"injured after he plowed into the rear of a slower moving vehicle"

How on earth do you do this? This was no accident. This was stupidity in the finest form. I sure hope the lady in the Honda wasn't hurt.

Well thanks for the nickname. You have one too- TROLL. And as far as your posts are concerned, are you so stupid you can't see it is posted to the right of your picture? Duh.
And you DON'T feel bad for the families, because if you did you WOULDN'T WRITE YOUR $%&*.
If you think someone is an idiot for getting into an accident, keep it to yourself! Your opinion is not worth listening too.
Get a life. I thought when I went on to read the comments it would be positive comments from people who feel bad and would be telling the family they are thinking for them!~ I NEVER thought I would get onto a public forum and read the CRAP you wrote!
Okay, first of all, don't start a sentence with the word "and". Secondly, learn the difference between "too" and "to", and last but not least, I was not aware that anyone could "listen" to a typed post.
As far as this idiot motorcycle rider goes, this was no accident. He was driving recklessly, speeding, not paying attention, and probably not wearing a full helmet. All THIS was, was the consequences of his own stupid actions.
If you are seeking sympathy for this future organ donor, go sit with his family, and don't come on Topix...you won't find it here.

Angel doesn't live in the real world and has the mentality of a 12 year old, throwing around insults like "you are so stupid", "Your opinion is not worth listening too (sic)" , etc.
Get a life? Maybe think about the possibility of the lady in the Honda being a mom, aunt, etc. By God's grace she still HAS a life.
And speaking about reading "CRAP", it seems you can dish it out, but you can't take it.
You use the word accident like you know what it means. My brother was killed in a car "ACCIDENT" when a driver going 60mph in a 30mph zone lost control and slammed into his vehicle. The man who caused the ACCIDENT is fine, and my brother, a father, uncle, etc, is DEAD.
I think his opinion is worth listening to.(Or "too" if one is grammatically challenged)

I'm a long time Harley rider, since high school days in the 60's. I guess I missed the "bunch of idiots" making "stupid idiotic comments"? I saw one from Emjoe and one from Judge Juudee (or whatever). I agree her comment was idiotic. Her opinion on motorcycles and loud pipes is subjective. As is my opposing opinion.

But what was so insulting about Emjoe's comment? Somebody made a bad judgement call in this collision and from what I read in the article it appears to have been the motorcycle rider.

I hope this "husband, father, and uncle" has a full recovery. And that he learns from his poor judgement. As I have learned from the stupid things I have done on my motorcycles. Of course I have apparently had a lot of luck on my side too. That and not riding beyond my riding skills.

Please dont direct your negativity at my dear friend, Vince. He is a local business owner and is well known for all his genorosity and substantial donations to many community charities. He is a wonderful, brilliant, skilled rider. He even raced motorcycles professionally. Please dont stereotype and be so judgemental. Vince Garrett is a fine man. He has done a lot for many. Dont be so harsh and cold...

My thoughts and prayers go out to all who were involved in the accident, especially Vince and his family and friends. None of us really know what happened, we were not there, and we all know there can be errors in reporting.
As Klare said, Vince is a local business man who has done a whole lot of good in the community. He and his friends have financially supported many good causes, including the Matt Garcia Foundation, veterans' causes, and numerous others. He is also a highly skilled motorcycle rider, and has built and raced them professionally.
Most of the time it is the car that runs in to one of us. All of us who ride know the dangers we face from careless automobile drivers when we get on a bike. I have lost friends on motorcycles due to drivers of cars cutting them off, failing to yield the right of way, driving drunk, talking on their cell phone, and any number of other things.
You are all entitled to your opinions, but a little compassion for everyone involved just might be a good thing here. There but for the grace of God go any one of us - either motorcycle rider or automoblie driver.

The harley riders around Vacaville are a bunch of A-Holes They are always speeding and driving reckless . As far as the noise from their pipes it is way above the decibel level for hearing loss. Again, they need to be BANNED .

There are ordinances in place regarding noise levels from vehicles. It's just that no one has the will to enforce the law around here. We have filed several complaints with the VVPD for noisy bikers on our streets. The person on the other end of the line always seems extremely uninterested in our complaints and in the end, nothing gets done.

I have always wondered why the police are reluctant to enforce the noise ordinance.
