About the loser thugs, we will be hearing the following from parents, or parent, they were just starting to turn their lives around - NOT. Their parents or parent needs to pay for all legal expenses incurred not tax paying citizens since they are responsible for their kids.

Thank you again Vacaville Police for an excellent job well done.

Don't we have any cadets willing to become "bait" as we use them for tobacco and alcohol stings? We use "bait" cars, too!

Get serious about this stuff! It's a big root of crime these days.

Hope all those new intersection cameras around town are being put to good use!

You mean parent, singular. What makes you think the parent has any money? Most likely on public assistance, or maybe a foster parent. Also, most likely living in section 8 housing, which is what lets them move here from Vallejo or Oakland. Section 8 housing is forced upon us by our friends in the Bay Area who want to spread the wealth of the scum out of their own backyards. Paid for by you, of course.

The permanent solution is to move away and let the trash have California, they're giving it to them anyway.

It is just not the Fairmont area, seems we are having trouble all over town now. I saw a house last week that had been tagged on the corner of Hemlock, 3 foot letters right on the side of the house, and not far from where a gang related knifing took place this last summer. I'll take the Vacaville of 1978 over what we have now anyday.

I agree but I can't leave my grandkids at the mercy of the ghetto culture that is rapidly moving to town for that great Gubment housing we offer. When the youngens get older this Richmond homegrown boy might be able to offer some good advice to keep them from becoming victimized by the lunatics.

I know. What color do you see walking the streets at night? I saw a hooker fat girl walking down Nut Tree/Leisure Town Road last week, swinging that big old thang....her little skinny hoedoggie friends were equally dressed in "tramp" attire. Wearing nothing but a big old assend encased in denim shorts and those stupid Uggs. Hookers? Girl thugs? LOL.

Wasn't VV-1978 great! The "bad" kids smoked dope and the PD knew who they were. No one was out there bragging about being bad, and they hid it well.

Of course you can't! I won't have to worry about that! I am not stuck here for eternity. I am sure you can remember when Richmond was a nice place to live. I know an old guy that remembers when it was okay to live in Oakland.

I agree......so lucky to have raised a family here in Vacaville back then. In the late 90's / early 2000's I seem to recall an east-bay home builder started advertising in the Bay Area counties that his homes were for sale in "close-in" Vacaville and they were significantly cheaper of course than Bay Area home prices. I remember thinking at the time what is he talking about....close-in??...Vacavill e is anywhere from 35 to 50 miles away from where he's advertising. Many moved here in droves in the late 90's / early 2000's....loads of good people but also unfortunately it seems like many who brought their thug offspring here with them that keep terrorizing the good citizens totally changing the peaceful way of life here that we all knew and loved. Seems like it always goes full circle and comes right back to the same thing......parent responsibility and just how people raise their kids.

Can't blame the town, it is just downright bad parenting. Can't punish the little buggers for anything because it might hurt their little feellings. The parent/parents ought to be jailed if they can't reimburse the city for the resources used to keep their little darlings in line.

OMG, that's hysterical! Not that there was a hooker walking the streets in VV, but they way you described it.

Which is it? Nut Tree or Leisure Town Road. These two streets do not intersect.
