We are 49th in the country.

how educated are you when you smoke pot all day, walk around with your pants hanging below you butt, stay on welfare for four generations, live off the work of others, just wondering.

i remember my grandparents mentioning that a certain culture has children because it equals more free money and services to the parents, which actually is "the parent" because 99% of these rats have no father in their household and are raised by gorillas that threaten to beat they mf'ingass.

wrong as usual. Ther will always be some people who benefit from higher education and others who do not. You can set a grapefruit in a classroom for twelve years and it won't get a bit smarter. The California public school system has proven without a doubt that p1ssing away more money does not produce better results. In fact, inthe. Case of California, the more money that gets thrown at the. System the worse it gets.

You should run for the school board. I'm sure someone wants to believe you.

birdy bob obviously has trouble seeing the big picture. as a whole, an educated population makes a better society than an ignorant, uneducated population. of course there are individuals that can only benefit from basic education. apparently birdy bob falls into that category.

Californians just voted to raise their own taxes to benefit "education", in reality the new taxes go into the general fund and mainly goes to pay retirement benefits to former government "workers". Solano college will blow ALL their new funding on make-work, prevailing-wage (union) projects which will benefit NO ONE except for a few high-paid union members. Then, they will demand MORE money to keep up with MORE phony projects; same as Cal-Trans. As far as Education goes I see where California will now reduce the math requirements in the eighth grade; by lowering the bar or test targets they hope to "graduate" a higher percentage of students. Unfortunately, the original purpose of Schools has been co-opted by the socialist goons who count on the stupidity of the voter who was educated under this corrupt system.

"education advocate"??????? Shouldn't you just use a description that fits you better, "teachers union shill"?
You are correct regarding an educated populous the problem is that the California public school system is not producing one and their biggest fear is any sort of accountability.for their gross failures.

Mr. Wanglow makes an interesting point. Here in Vallejo our corrupt/inept school system is ensuring the future waves of entitlement-minded voters to keep the union machine and poor farming funds thriving. They (our equally complicit council) are going to push more of this affordable housing strategy upourasses tomorrow night with the budget increase to the farm.

The less educated the population the easier they are to control. We used to refer to them as "mushrooms"; keep 'em in the dark and feed them bullshit.

Most of you obviously haven't been to the college. The court area looks like they are taking applications for the bloods and the crips. Ladies hold on to your purses...that highly educated gang member might be tempted to snatch it.
