Woodland trio awaits fate in murder case

Following more than two weeks of testimony in Solano County Superior Court, a nine-woman, three-man jury on Friday afternoon began deliberating the fate of three Woodland residents charged with murder in connection with a 2006 home invasion robbery that fatally injured an elderly Vacaville man.

Woodland has the City Police Dept., Yolo has the Sheriffs Dept.(I rarely play with minds), you are just insane. Defense attorneys argue that pre-existing medical conditions could not have been agitated during the beating and therefore there is no murder. If I had a pre-existing liver ailment and someone beat me in the liver, it is still murder. If a child is born with his/her heart outside of the body and you kick the heart and they die, it is murder. When someone dies because of a crime commited against him/her it is murder.

Wonder how bad the DA's office screwed up this case? Wonder if any evidence was hidden or withheld? Too bad for the people when you can tell the crooks from the prosecutors.

All three were found guilty of 1st degree murder while in the commision of burglary. The two males were also foung guilty of murder dueing the commision of robbery. They are all three looking at life without parole.

This may all be true, I wonder if all the evidence was given to the defense? wonder if any cops lied on the stand? wonder if the Defense missed anything? wonder if this is just another case to get a conviction at all cost, no matter the facts may say?

Do you realize that this story is about the Solano County DA's office and not the Yolo County DA's office??? Also, why do you keep changing your forum name everytime you post a comment?

All four defendents, three now, one took a deal and testified against the others, are from Woodland in Yolo County. The offense happened in Solano County. The entire case has only one thing in common with Yolo County (the defendents resided in Yolo County). When an offense is commited in another County then the defendents are hous3ed in that Counties jail. They are charged in that County. They go to court in that County. The Judge, Court room, DA are all in that County. The Court house is in that County. Other than the residence of the defendants, this case has notjing to do with Yolo County. Yolo County Jail, Yolo County Vourt, Yolo County DA are not involved in this case at all. I hope this helps so you can at least put your unfounded claims on Yolo County cases only. Peace
