Everyone needs to have locks on their gates to keep the little ones in and help keep the bad guys out

True but at least Jumping the fence makes the person a little more noticeable to a neighbor than someone just reaching over and opening the Gate. I have always hated the 6 foot fences law. I want 8-10 foot tall fortress walls all around haha.

He wandered out through a broken gate. Who's the bad guy, the dad who failed to repair the gate?

I prefer to have 6 to 8 guns real handy and just enough fences to keep the cattle contained. I welcome all dirtbag wannabe thugs out to my place for shooting lessons. I never lock the doors or windows and the keys are left in most of the vehicles all the time.
