Why is it that if you are an A student you can get away with so much in school, but when a student isn't good at taking tests the powers that be are out to get you?
When did schools become the parents? Telling them what to eat, what to wear, who to date, etc.
If a student is actually a problem within the school, then the parents should be the ones to deal with it, and not the teachers. It IS the responsibility of the school to contact the parent, period. I have an issue with the school telling the parents what they feel is important.
If this is the case, we should all be able to tell the school how to teach, and how to run their personal lives.
The school should do what they do best, and leave the rest to the parents.
