The Bernat mill was once owned /By Mr. and Mrs. Bernat (whom we all knew) why is the history of the mill not even mentioned here. I understand that it was a huge loss and many businesses have had a loss, to all of us whom grew up in Uxbridge, this was a piece of History that is now gone, We may have all moved away and started our own lives, but alot of us, worked there when we were kids. And yes each time we may visit Uxbridge but, its like anything You always go home to look at things that bring you back to the life we all knew, a when it seemed life was simplier then and memories we all don't like to let go of. I am sorry for the business that lost everything they had, I feel for each and everyone of them. One was a relative of mine. As the town then starts talking about the amount of taxes they will now lose. Thank god it happened on a saturday and no one was killed or burnt in the blaze.

This fire was no accident. It was set on purpose, also known as ARSON!! Though Not what the Town public safety folks told the general public. Oops, someone didn't tell the truth back then....

I heard today the chief of police is slated to be arrested any day now having involvement in arson of starting the 2007 fire.

and it has something to do with tampering with evidence and allegedly destroying a red gas can that was used to set the mill on fire, which was located less than 40' from the entrance door.

It supposed to be in the newspapers and on TV - so we shall see.
