Spinach Capital of the World

Crystal City in Zavala County has been called "Spinach Capital of the World" since at least 1933-34. In 1936, the annual Crystal City Spinach Festival was started. via The Big Apple

chingos de people there and everyone i talked to were very friendly (all from crystal) but none live there anymore all from out of state. Even the "cholos"were friendly
