I am very disappointed with the decorations in the plaza this year. It looks so... sad.

I noticed that. The courthouse looks good. And so does the city. But someone dropped the ball on the plaza.

did you help and volunteer your time to set it up like other people did? If the answer is no, you've got nothing to bitch about. When will you people understand that if you want something nice, you'll have to work for it?

Nope, I would have helped if help was asked for. I didn't know they needed help. I was just noticing that from past years, this year was not like others. Just an observation. Calm down.

Well, help was solicited throughout the year and ads were even ran in the local newspaper. Feelya- I respect your opinion and the fact that you would help. If you would like to help that would be great and if more people would volunteer their time in this community the possibilities are endless

the courthouse is run by the COUNTY. The plaza is under the jurisdiction of the CITY. The county doesn't need volunteers, they've got workers paid to do it. The city doesn't have the money or the manpower to do it.

the only BS here is YOU for being so uninformed but still spouting your ignorant sh!t.

feelya - the only person who dropped the ball was you for not caring enough to know what's going on. If you had noticed this in previous years, you would've found time to go talk to someone and find out how you could help.

Bottom line, the reason it's not decorated to your expectations is because you didn't care enough to make a difference. Let's hope you'll get involved next year - you won't have an excuse.

I'll be there and have a group to help out. In the past they used people from the treatment center. But I'm sure you already knew that.

So you are saying that there are decorations in storage right now but were not put up because of a lack of volunteers? It does look bare compared to previous years

Contact anyone in the Chamber of Commerce and they'll direct you in the right direction. You can also talk to the City of Uvalde office and they can help also.

Yes, they're all sitting insides a storage space because it's either too expense to light, needs repair, or just no one to help set it up.

It does look sad. It's like the stuff from last year got lost. The little bit of Lights are out, if you guys need help, which it looks like you all do why not just ask instead of having it look so sad and fighting about it , and why should the citizens from you Uvalde donate and volunteer time and lights!! Who can we ask , so don't just complain give a solution. I know many talented and very creative individuals in Uvalde that can make the plaza look awesome!!!

There were plenty of ads asking for volunteers through out the year. I am a guilty citizen who didn't go and volunteer. So I cannot complain. If people are truly concerned I am sure you can still go volunteer. I'm sure if every light was out you would complain too many lights were out, never can have positive comments

so you saw ad in paper? How many other ads did you need to see to make you want to volunteer? It was on their facebook, and they voiced the need at their meetings. Its not too late, now you know....go help out....or keep sticking tortillas in your mouth, you probably need the exercise.

Im assuming that you are white trash for insinuating that the people that didn't volunteer to decorate were hispanic (tortilla eaters)?
Have you volunteered , you mac and cheese with ketchup muncher or whatever you trailer dwelling , cousin jumpers eat ?You are just like that idiot "nope". And wheres your Christmas spirit? And who wants to volunteer to be next to losers like you who think their sh!t dont stink? At the end of the day you are still white trash from a small hick town.
