I want to say most of the men do drink here in Uvalde.:( i can see having 1 or 2 beers after a hard day at work, but omg!! Every single day. It gets old. I was having the same problem with my husband and besides the drinking it was drug use also, i told him it was gonna either have to stop or I was gonna stop are marriage .. I refuse to continue living this way. Im a devoted wife, lover etc.etc. to him but a person gets tired of all the BS, then they cant figure out what they lost until its too late, after telling them over and over again to stop already or time too move on.

sorry to say but he has a drinking problem. every once in a while a beer after work is cool but everyday and gets drunk with anger. abuse comes with that. try and talk with him about slowing down.

Most hard working men like to come home after work and drink some beer to relax. If he knows how to drink and dosent drink to get drunk or pass out then I see no problem but I can understand if when he drinks he acts mean or the fool that is not acceptable. If your husband comes home and has some beers and acts right and is home with his family then I see no harm in it.

The good thing is that he is only your boyfriend. If you think that things will "get better" when you get married you have another thing coming. It's in your best interest to walk away and find someone who doesn't drink beer. I've known many people who thought that things would change and it never did. Do yourself a favor and run to the hills!

It is hard when the love is still strong. However, once they start having anger issues its that they crave there drug, it doesnt help when they have their friends too contribute to their needs. My husband gets verbal with me and he is capable of hitting me, which im so afraid of him. I havent been married for long. But, of course first time impression is always great. I will have to show him one day that i finally got fed up with the BS. The 1st thing they think is you have someone else, the sad thing is that one day i might have to turn to another male friend who will be there to comfort me and who chooses his friends and drugs over his family

My husband doesn't. He may drink a few beers occasionally if we get together with friends, but we don't keep beer in the house. My father didn't drink either.

The same thing with him. he likes to pick a fight, hate it!! We got into it really bad the other day and i told him he needed to slow down on hes drinking. he said i was just being controlling and not respecting him that he just wants to relax cuz he works very hard. When he starts drinking, i hate being around him! were not married and dont want to get married, nor get pregnant!
