A. How about going after the people who are stealing to finance their drug habits?
B. Do you really think you can have a drink with dinner anymore now that "they'll" be waiting for you just outside the door to the tavern?
C. How about using that money to start a taxi service to run inebriated people home?

It's an overtime machine for the cops. At least they're not using beer belly deputy sheriffs.

Anything to help keep the drunks off the road is ok in my book. Trouble is a lot call others to warn them where they are set up. They do catch some though.
Far as I'm concerned they can sit right outside the bar.

What a bunch of assholes. You are moaning that your local police officrs want to take drunks off the road? UNBELIEVEABLE! Guess you have never lost someone to a drunk driver. Had to take care of someone who has been paralyzed by a drunk driver or had to watch someone you love cry themselves to sleep for months on end......wow..... I hate people this freakin' stupid. STUPID!

It would be nice, if the road checks included checking valid Motocycle &/or driver's license, insurance & current registration. We ALL pay extra to cover those who prefer to fly under the radar.

I used to work in a local bar. PA law states that you can't serve someone if they become intoxicated, or they walk into the establishment intoxicated. Therefore, if the bartenders in this town were not breaking the law, then the cops wouldn't have such a problem with DUIs. I agree that patrons should be responsible for there own actions, but when alcohol is involved, even the most responsible can end up being foolish. Hence why the LCB put the law in place about not serving once someone has been intoxicated. Funny thing though, ever been to a bar where everyone is sober? Doesn't really happen does it. Quite frankly, I am happy this is in place, I don't want me or my family to suffer because of some drunk.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Leo

Your sunny temperament has returned, dear Leo, as the Sun and Venus dance in Sagittarius and the marvellous Moon shines in your sign. Whatever the day has to offer, it should bring you some pleasure and laughter, so arrange something nice if you don't have anything planned. Your power to charm is considerable right now and it will make you a big hit with whoever gets the full force of it. But don't give someone the come-on if you don't mean it.
