BAN WET HAY!
#3 Jul 15, 2009
When I was a kid, more years ago than I'm going to say, the old timers then, knew about hay catching on fire if it was put up wet. This is nothing new. I seem to remember spreading salt over each layer of bales if there was any doubt the hay was not dry enough.
I am so sorry about their loss, but they knew better.
